Best BBQ bang for the buck. I got the three meat plate with 2 sides - Mac n cheese and fried okra. For meat, I got ribs, brisket, and Turkey. My wife got the chicken with her meal and really enjoyed it. Their sauce is good, too. This place has been the most consistent bbq place I’ve been to. I used to go quite a bit a little over 10 years ago and the food is just as good now as it was back then. I’d love to see how they make it so I could learn a thing or two. The service is always great and you get huge drinks. Check them out!

If you're feeding a large party and need cheap prices, this is your place. Half of my food was pretty dry. It was a large portion of meat for $24 but half was not good. The Mac n cheese was almost orange, not real, not good at all. They brag on the onion rings but they were gross. The breading is nasty. I really loved the roast and pulled pork tho. Not clean inside at all. Like an old bar kind of and not cleaned thoroughly daily is obvious. I would go to TxRdHs and get crazy awesome food for about the same price. They brag on having all Mexicans in the kitchen for some reason. Servers seemed overwhelmed but I got a refill.

First time here. This a kind of place the locals would go. The staff very polite. I had a two meat plate - ribs and brisket with baked beans and German fried potatoes on the side. The portions are huge. I couldn't eat it all. The ribs were very good. I got the lean side of the brisket. A little dry but good. It is a place I will go back to if I am in the area.

We ordered carry out food and were not satisfied with quality. Chicken fried steaks looked prefabricated (perfect ovals) and tasted like flour and processed meat. Fried okra was dry and did taste fresh at all. Also we missed an order of mashed potatoes, so I recommended to recount if you are ordering multiple meals. Overall, Smokehouse has reduced its quality of food dramatically, since last time we ordered. They used to have very good value food but I guess their priorities changed...

The good: The server was very nice, the drink was ice cold, mozzarella sticks were... well, mozzarella sticks and the owner who runs the cash register is very pleasant. The bad: The 3 meat plate. 2 ribs were marginal at best. The sliced brisket and pork were dry, luke warm and had very little taste even with the bbq sauce that tasted similar to Great Value brand. I took one bite of each and left it. Pinto beans were ok and potato salad was good. Toast was good with the Walmart tasting sauce on it. The Ugly: the $19 and change I paid for it and the 30 minutes of my life I'll never get back from eating there. Keep in mind reviews are nothing more than opinions and this is mine. Give them a shot and make up your own mind. I did and I have. I won't be back..
