I like this place but lost a star for my to go order, My salad was thrown in a bag with no utensils.. when I asked the lady for a fork she said that they don't give them out that you have to request them. I have seen fast food establishments more efficient. I would expect more from a fine dining restaurant. Good thing I looked in my bag because I would not have been happy to eat my salad with my fingers.

What can I say? The Cape Cod Times review sums it up..."After all these years" Scargo just keeps getting better. Waitstaff, Atmosphere and Food Quality/Creativity makes it our go to dining spot. Wine list is comprehensive enough and fairly priced, so are cocktails. I seldom drink beer, and that's the only thing that disappoints. The beers are served well, chilled glasses are offered, but the selection is vague and minimal. Still I don't think this is reason enough to deduct a star. 🥂

Fans of Cheers? Friends? Seinfeld? The Scargo Cafe embodies the same comfort and familial joy. My wife and I have eaten across the menu over the last few years and nothing has missed the mark - cocktails, wine, apps and mains, ambiance and service 11/10. Can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely fabulous!!! (I'd give ten stars if I could.) Every detail of the decor was perfect, food tasted superb as well as beautifully presented and impeccable service from Joseph, our server, made our first visit to Scargo Cafe truly memorable! My friend and I are both on-Cape locals and plan spread the word that there is no better dining experience than Scargo Cafe!

- Ask for the "special" menu to get more options that are great
- Tuna martini and calamari are some of the best appetizers

Phenomenal lunch! Perfect stop after Annie's Crannies tour. We had the seafood bisque which was heavenly. I wanted Clam Chowder. This was better. Perfectly paired with the apple arugula salad. Every entree looked extremely enticing! Stop by soon.

Food was wonderful! Nicholas was a very knowledge, kind, attentive and knew the menu inside and out. Everything from drinks to dessert was delicious. Could not have asked for a better meal. And "The Potter table" turned out to be a great place enjoy each other's company.

We did takeout which normally is wonderful. This night, not up to par. One of our entrees cover was not put on properly and it drained all the sauce out. Shrimp fritters had hardly any shrimp flavor, mostly cheese. Buffalo tenders were good. Chopped Salad with chicken and avo was fresh and delicious. Calamari was fresh with fresh oil and lots of flavor. Romaine salad had just the right amount of dressing.
