As a Brit living in the USA I have had some pretty disappointing Fish and Chips! This has by far been the second best place I have found for the traditional English Meal complete with Malt Vinegar! Big fat and Juicy flaky Cod in perfect Batter!! Why second best you ask! No1 was all you could eat fish and chips so had to take top spot LOL. Please if visiting the Cape put this restaurant on your list for simple but well cooked food!!!!

Get down there, you’ll love it!! (I’ve been a regular every summer for over 20 years) the boneless buffalo wings are a must!!
Everything was delicious!! We waited a long time to get a table (almost 2 hours) but we could get some drinks before to eat. The atmosphere was nice indoors and outdoors. Excellent music and bands! (Just too loud inside so nobody can talk). But they have the best seafood. Different choices of sides and fresh and healthy too (broiled cod yummy!!!) and the prices are good!!
Great food. Reasonably priced. Big fresh portions. Interesting dressings.Fairly fast service (the place was super busy, but food was served as fast as possible). Life music on Saturday. Not a fancy restaurant. But great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to visit.
This is a go-to nearly every week. However on this occasion there were 7 for dinner. 6 of 7 were happy with their meals. Mine however was not... And I will say Mama at the oyster shrimp bar is the best! Love her.
Had a great experience at this restaurant with our waiter Blake! He waited on 14 girls for a bachelorette dinner and was so friendly and helpful. Thank you Blake!! He recommended the swordfish and it was delicious! We had espresso martinis for dessert
They have good food. I recommend the boneless buffalo chicken wings. For main course I usually get the Irish plate which has sausage, chicken, steak tips with potato salad.
There is large area to sit inside or out. There are waits which is typical for summer time. The parking lot is way to small for the size of the location.
They have a bar area can be crowded and busy again typical for summer time. They do have live music at times.
Amazing Food, Atmosphere & Staff!! And its even better when they have out door entertainment. Never had a bad meal here. Me & my husband go to the Cape Twice a year. And always have a dinner here! I Highly recommend this establishment!!!
We love coming to Chapin’s Fish and Chips! The food is always delicious, the staff is very friendly and there is often live music playing. This is a great place for families. There is seating inside and outside. If it get’s chilly at night they have heaters by the tables.
Been here recently three times now. We had a great experience every time. It’s kid friendly, great, vibe, and excellent service. I’ve had the hot lobster roll, a pasta special, and fried belly clams. All were fantastic! Love this place. Oh and tasty chicken fingers and fries.
Couldn't be happier! Excellent service and food! Friendly atmosphere. Fun times for everyone in our group. Good portions and will definitely will come back every time we are at the cape.
Enjoyed a nice evening in Dennisport at Chapin's restaurant. We had gone by many times and there was long wait times to be seated.
This time we were early in the season and decided to try again.
It was busy but we were seated quickly.
One side is a bar and the other is very family friendly. There were lots of children having fun and it's not a quiet place.
We sat in the back away from the bar area.
I had the fish tacos and my husband had baked haddock. Both were very tasty. The sides were coleslaw and the baked fish came with fries.
The waiter appeared to be new and did not know much about the menu and what sides came with the entrees and what needed to be ordered as a side.
He disappeared a couple of times to get answers but did return in a timely manner. We also had a Mastercard gift card that he did not know how to redeem so we just used our credit card.
It was a relaxing place to have dinner and we would return.
