Subway

Stopped in to eat at 08:35 pm and set down to look at the menu. The restaurant hours showed it open till 9pm. I sat for a few minutes and decided what to eat and at 08:40 pm a server came out and told me they were closed. I pointed out that the sign showed them open till 9 pm...and she simply said it didn't matter....they were closed. So, for anyone wanting to eat here, get seated before 8 pm because they close at 8:30 pm.

This review is for the restaurant “country pride” located within the station itself. The fuel station was kept clean and provided friendly and quick service. From there, It was good food at a good price. Service was also wonderful and o really did enjoy this meal. I got the country friend steak and eggs. With biscuits and gravy of course!! :)

The food was absolutely horrible. I ordered Stir Fry (without chicken) and the veggies or should I say just broccoli 🥦 was either burned or cold, what happened to 🥕 as it reads on the menu???? Rice was cold and the portion was small and the salad was barely there!!! I don't believe the two guy's in the kitchen know anything about cooking or food presentation. And they're not very friendly or courteous. Park here to rest but that's it. YUCK 🤮 waste of money.

A ROADSTER'S STOPPING POINT: rolling across East TN headed back west, this was a good stopping point, the place was packed with a variety of travelers - over the road drivers, casual drivers, and travelers. From entrance to the rear, there were options to chose from as far as the eye could see. It has a restaurant and of course a fueling station. An added plus is the fuel point program both for the professional drivers and general public. This comes in quite handy given the fluctuation in fuel costs. This location had a partnership between the Shell Fuel Rewards and the KrogerPlus card which makes for convenience out on the open road. One improvement I'd like to see would be how they processed the use of the program; they have to use two separate system for processing any transaction for the Shell/Kroger program verses the one for professional drivers. It would seem that to prevent delays and having the clerks shift from station to station, there would be a unified system that could delineate between what was being processed. Aside from this, the location is highly visible from any direction along the highway. The people are friendly and quite helpful.

The restaurant I had the worst experience and I took take out. I have been in other TA restaurants as well. I gave 1 star because there isn't 0. I pay in yotàl 21$ tips and food price. I order steak and eggs with hash brown and toast. My eggs were greedy master taste, the bread was soggy with so much butter my hash browns were oily my steàk was burned no taste. A total mess I put it in the garbage..I couldn't eat it. Disgusting. I don't thing these cooks know how to cook. Why aren't they trained? Sad but I will never eat at TA ever again. I gave them many chances in many TA places it's the same bad food.
