Duke's Seafood & Steakhouse is where we decided to celebrate my fiance's birthday this evening. It was our first time there. We saw the place a few months ago and asked around. We were told it was good, and to get there at 5pm because they get busy after that. Sure enough, we got there around 5pm and were seated right away. There were maybe 3 other tables at that time. We ordered the Gator Bites as an appetizer. They were tenderized just right! Our waitress, Sarah, was great. She seemed to know the menu well enough, answering all of our questions. She recommended the Baked Shrimp Classic so I ordered that, and my fiance ordered the Jumbo Butterfly Shrimp. They were PERFECT and we enjoyed the taste of both dishes very much! The presentation for the fried shrimp plate was very creative - we had never seen steak fries curled like that before! We will definitely be returning customers! We were in and out in less than an hour, and sure enough, the place was PACKED with a 20 minute standing wait by the time we left.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! We started with the “Duked Up Shrimp” (super cheesy shrimp with jalapeño that you MUST try!). The seafood gumbo is one of the best I’ve tried since moving down to Louisiana. Then the seafood platter (we ordered it grilled opposed to fried) was delicious, fresh and down right plenty for both my wife and I to share.
Turtle Cheesecake was our dessert of choice and was definitely worth forcing down while already stuffed 😂.
Our server Alec was very attentive and polite. Not once did I have to “find” him for a refill or anything. His service alone was worth 5 stars!!!
If you’re in the Denham Springs area, Dukes is a MUST try stop!!!!
Just passing through and stop and I was impressed . Hush puppies were good and the grilled steak bites tasted amazing ! The charred oysters were awesome as well
My favorite is the jacked up Oysters 💯👍🏾🙌🏿🥰 everything else was delicious.. the drink was a 4 out of 10😔.. our server was very polite and helpful ..
The food was great I think this is the best food I ever tasted I heard Louisiana had flavor but wasn't prepared for the explosion of flavor I just got loved everything. The service was greattt .
Bring a big appetite when you come here! Food and appetizers are excellent.

We stopped in the area for the night on our way through to Alabama. The KOA staff suggested we eat at Dukes. The restaurant was clean and had an inviting atmosphere. Our waitress was very nice. We first tried the dukes up shrimp. It was very cheesy. Tasted great! Then I tried the seafood gumbo. It’s got a beef broth base and plenty of shrimp and crab. Husband had catfish and shrimp. He loved it and it was a ton of food. I enjoyed the baked stuffed shrimp. We finished up with bread pudding. The sauce was great. Overall, a wonderful experience.
Absolutely awesome everything. We had oysters of every kind on the menu to get us started. Loved them all. I had the seafood platter. It was awesome except I could eat no more than half of it. Needless to say the portions are American sized. The leftovers were almost as good several days later. Do I recommend Duke's? Yes indeed!
