The food is amazing! Breakfast lunch or dinner!! They also have the best fries. On top of that they have great service and they are so friendly! If you have never ate there before, I definitely recommend that you go. I swear you won't regret it!

Only thing I can think is they must be talking about the Restaurant down the street.
Clean, competent, consistent. Food is good, prices are fair, service is decent, place is clean. Large menu. While I've never had a bad meal, nothing really stands out as spectacular. A great option for a family.

Service: Our server was friendly and attentive to our dining service needsBreakfast: Coffee is great at Steve's Grill served fresh both morning & evening. No "well-water taste" like other local diners around Demotte/Wheatfield areas.
Eggs, scrambled: Light and fresh tasting.
Bacon: cooked as ordered.
Hashbrowns: Good and plentiful! Crispy on outside but not greasy or dried out at all.
Toast: 2 slices toasted just right; butter/not margarine and jellies provided without asking. Offered white, wheat, or rye.
French Toast: Thick, hearty slice with powdered sugar on top and a littlle pot of syrup on the side. Mmm!
Dinner: Fried white fish is excellent. Lightly breaded, not greasy at all, cooked just right. No heavy batter like some fried fish dishes.
Burgers: Okay but a little under-done (ask for very well done if you don't like pink). I ordered the blue cheese burger, expecting blue "cheese" not dressing..(my fault/didn't read menu closely enough which said sauce)...so bun was kind of soggy and I had to use a fork & knife but it was hot and tasty. Fries were good.
Pies: Sound good but too full for dessert.
I placed a pick up order over the phone. The lady was very friendly and nice, when I came to pick it up the food was ready in less than 5 minutes and it seemed fresh. I got a side of fries and a bowl of mexican chicken soup and it was great. I only spent $8.11 and it was worth it. I recommend it.
Megan was fantastic. Whole diner was hoping and we watched the dance the servers did. Food was great. Portions were ample, coffee good. I would recomend them to dine there. Megan is a pro !

It has been a while since I last visited there. But this time was really good. Food was really good and reasonable. Was surprisingly impressed. Interior needs updating though. Over the last 12 or more years, it hasn't changed.
Keep making good food, but upgrade the Interior!!
