Love their decor, very clean inside, waitresses all very friendly. My husband had their bacon cheeseburger with fries, ordered bowl of onion soup all very good. I had their prime rib with sweet spud and Salad, rib was okay, little to seasoned for me.
This restaurant is simply very, very enjoyable with very good food and great service. My wife and I went to Boundary Waters for an early dinner. We ordered the chicken tortilla soup for a starter. The soup was hot and delicious. Bread and honey butter was brought to us next. Honey butter: have not had it since I was a kid. It was great. Next, we both ordered chicken fingers. These are not your typical chicken fingers, but the most succulent, tasty and large chicken fingers money can buy. I had buffalo sauce on the side. Our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout our dinner.
Went between lunch and dinner. Food was great.i had prime rib, baked potato and side salad. Staff was wonderful. I will say that for the price I would have expected an additional vegetable offering, there was none, and no bread/roll or anything to keep you from feeling like you were just waiting, which was not overly long. I will definitely return, the prime rib and my friend's steak were perfectly cooked.
Step back in time and get some good old fashioned supper at good price!!
(BTW, my steak happened to look like Wisconsin or Michigan!)
