Rancher's Grill

Rancher's Grill in Deming, NM off Cedar Street was a good experience for some food while passing through town. The salad bar was huge with a wide variety of choices. The steak was fresh and as per the waitress all meats are fresh cut daily. The chopped sirloin was great too. There are ample amount of seats and the furnitute is a rustic ranch style. There are also antiques scattered around the restaurant. The server was friendly and attentive. Some things that could be better were the floor next to the grill could do with some cleaning. One ceiling tile was missing and a few others had water damage above the salad bar. The men's bathroom could do with a cleaning, as well as a remodel. The front door was broken and slams behind after walking through. The sidewalk could do with some cleaning in front of the entrance. And the parking lot needs to be repainted. All in all, the experience was still good.

Waitress was friendly but really did not see her much. Food was hot and tasty but we never received our dinner rolls with our meals. Salad bar was fresh soups were fresh and hot and tasty. Over all think waitress need to be more attentive but I would come back. Oh. Front of building needs attention hard to tell place was open.

Read the previous reviews and honestly was a Lil leary at first. With not having TONS of nice places to eat our family took a chance. Aside from the menu choices being VERY LIMITED compared to the online menu they promoted, the food was very good. The salad bar was actually full, clean and good. Included 2 different soups as well... Our group ( 6 people) were all pleased. We will go again.

Normally won't say anything negative but holy Jesus. This place has gone way downhill. Not what I expected at all. Food was very disgusting. Not worth the money. They used to be the place to be, now.....don't waste your hard-earned cash if you can make the food better at home. Just saying. Gave this place a shot and nevermind.

Place is getting old and not very well cared for. The seating portion of my bench would lift up if you sat on the end of the bench and I'm not particularly heavy. The place overall looks shoddy. It appears the owners want to make money but not put money back into keeping the place up. Food is ok . not good..not bad. AVERAGE.

Gotta say it was an ok experience, once seated the waitress took forever to get our drinks & refills. Food was alright, would be better if menu had pictures of the food your ordering. Salad bar… ehhhh kinda of iffy there. Items weren’t switched out looked old n hard. Plus gotta love the leftover potatoes from the night before. Also if your going to have a big party. Make sure you accommodate ur stock till ur next order. Only beer available was Coors light! May return may not return!

We got here right after rush hour dinner time there was still plenty of food left but some things they were out of the server was a little too chatty about personal things that I really didn't need to know about other than that the food was great the service was great but people are nice it's pretty authentic hometown old-style country steak place
