Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

My husband and I went to Perkins since it was my birthday & I had a coupon. The service was terrible. We waited 1/2 hour for our food. My husband had ordered soup, but that wasn't brought out until our meal had gotten there. We didn't have hard orders, so it shouldn't of taken that long. There only seemed to be 2 waitresses for the whole place and there was a party in the back. I don't know if they were short cooks or what. There was a couple who finally got up & left because they had been sitting for awhile & no waitress came. We had eaten here about 3 weeks ago and it wasn't as bad as today, but it still wasn't great. I think it will be awhile before we try it again!

Our visit was less than satisfactory. I realize that they had just reopened and I only saw 2 people waiting on customers so I'm going to try to chalk this up to being low on waitstaff. Our waitress came by to take our order and asked us if she could take an order from a couple that came in after us to which we replied yes because what are you really supposed to say when asked that- no? Anyway her reasoning was because she thought she could bring out both orders at once. We waited about 20+ minutes for our food to come out and watched the couple that came in after us receive their food at least 10 minutes before us. Our waitress said that she would bring out refills for drinks and then forgot about our table for another 20 minutes. Our food came out and was missing bacon that came with the meal as well as onions in my entree. There was no syrup for our pancakes either and by the time they came out with all the stuff we were missing, we were ready to leave. Not super friendly staff either. Won't be returning for awhile.

Very well maintained restaurant. The staff were very friendly and professional. I had scrambled eggs and hash browns. However; I did not have a chance to taste the hash browns due to other things happening which was not caused by the restaurant. The food is as good as my favorite places back in my hometown in Texas.

We waited an hour to get our food after ordering. When we did get served the food was was poorly prepared. Eggs and meat were over cooked. Pancakes were so tough you needed a knife to cut them. Our waitress only checked on us once while we waited. Truly the worst dining experience my family has had possibly ever.

I came here on a Friday afternoon and business was slow and everything went perfect. Then my family came on Mother’s Day and it was packed and they kept seating people even though they were way behind. 2 couples got up and just left and everyone kept getting mad and saying the food was cold. IT WAS HILARIOUS AND A GREAT SHOW TO WATCH 4/5. I would give it 5, but I’m still waiting for syrup and ketchup. Thank you Perkins for a memorable lunch

Food here is great and reasonably priced. New manager, but he was not very knowledgeable of the menu. We asked about a certain dish and he said he had never heard of it; we later found it on the menu. He was quite passive. Waitress was very busy with many tables so it's somewhat understandable That she was not as friendly/polite as one can expect, but nothing beats cordial behavior and politeness. Would come here again as I love the food and this is the first time we have this not so positive experience.
