Denny's

Service was lousy. It took 20 minutes for our server to even come by and say hello and get our drink order. The food took over an hour to get to us. Thankfully we ordered the appetizer samplers because as you can see, we never even got our silverware. We asked for napkins as well and they never got to us. Thankfully I had baby wipes with me. When we were leaving to pay, mind you we didn’t even get our tab at our table, the servers and host were huddled around talking to one another. I understand people make friendships with coworkers but I feel like there should be a balance. The food itself was great but the service is lacking.

My husband and I stop for some breakfast at your Delano location. When we first got there I was impressed with the serve Leslie gave us. I even joke with her at one point. I ordered a Lumber Jack meal and my husband country Fried Steak meal. I got my meal and my toast was a warm bread with butter. I asked Leslie if I could get my bread toasted because it was not toasted plz. I then hear her ask the cook to toast it some more. Cook as if I wanted burnt and they all started to laugh, Leslie said yes more toast I guess.They continue to laugh. I wasn’t going to say anything but the second time they all started to laugh. I got up and said forget about the toast since you guys don’t k ow what toast is. Manger came out and my husband ask if he knew what toast is? He said yes and looked and my toasted and said it was dark. I then said I ask for toasted not burnt. I was not happy at this point and I told him the ruin my appetite and that I was not going to pay for my meal. Manager never apologized and yes my husband was done with his meal but he paid for his. I didn’t it but part of my meal because I was waiting on my toast. I have been eating at Dennys for many years never have I been treated the way I was treated at this location!!! I have lost of friend and family in Delano I will make sure I let them know how I was treated at this location. Next time I will go to the cafe in front of your location now I know why they were much busier then you location!!!

This is the last time I come here! I clearly ordered the cookie dough pancakes and received regular pancakes with some kind of frosting on top? Third time I've had an issue with this place in the last couple months. I've been taking my family to eat here for years. I want a full refund. I'll be contacting corporate as this is the last incident I'm gonna just deal with from this location. I'm spending hard earned money! Unacceptable!
