Great place, great shows great mood, great food and great coffee. Prices are fair, the chicken wrap is great and the coffee it's individually handcrafted prepared in front of you. Shout out to Kiefer, he is a "barista" rock star and really talented meal preparing guy, don't forget to tipping him before you leave the place.

This is a staple of the local music community on top of being a good spot for coffee and pastries. Nice seating when a show isn't taking place, and generally very friendly staff. Acoustics and the stage will always leave a little to be desired as it's simply not a very big room, though some acoustic treatment could make the sound a little better. That being said it's the best little venue in the area. Also not a bad spot to see a comedian.

Great atmosphere with live entertainment, and awesome service. The new owner is a really cool guy who doesn't mind chatting with his customers. Crowds attracted to this place are usually all just really nice open minded people. The tasty sandwiches and snacks are definitely a big plus as well.

Amazing live music, unique food, and a relaxing vibe: what could be better? There's some great bands who play there, and the range of music is extremely wide spanning from jazz trios to screaming metal bands. After playing there with my band, I was very impressed with the sound, definitely one of the best venues in the area. Love the flatbread pizza too

It's nice that the house Cafe supports the arts and is family friendly. But, i brought my 6 year old with and he wanted a slice of cake of which they told me it's $5. Holy cow, that's insane for a single slice of cake! Also, i am gluten free and there isn't much on the menu that i can eat except overpriced chips ($1.40 for a small snack bag) or a fruit cup. They used to at least have tortilla chips with a tasty salsa and guac but that's fine from the menu. I was hoping for a better experience but was somewhat disappointed.

Best beer selection out of all the restaurants and bars in Dekalb (size is not everything). Great home-cooked food (though it takes some time). Great eastern/hippie motif. My only criticism is that the shows performed there can have sound issues, namely too loud. I watched a show there last night, and I went to bed with my ears ringing. It's more than a coffee shop/ band venue, it's a neighborhood cornerstone. It's got character. It's personal, truly unique.

I love how they offer gluten free options! You can't really walk into a restaurant or a place to eat anymore that has gluten free options! Their gluten free bagels are amazing! Overall, just an amazing place to go if you need to study and a late night study session this is the place to go! I love this place so much!
