We both ordered the more traditional Norwegian dishes. He had potato pancakes. I had the Smelt wrap. All the wraps come in lefske. We had a slice of apple lingonberry pie for dessert. I really appreciated the sign on the door that they were short handed and there’d be a wait. Plus they had a bunch of tables marked off so the staff wasn’t overwhelmed. Made so much sense!

Great place to have breakfast. Very clean and the food was really good. I would highly recommend stopping by if you get a chance.

The food was ok. I had the hot meatloaf. The potatoes, gravy & sourdough bread were good. I'm iffy on the meatloaf. It was definitely not what I was expecting. The pie though? Excellent!! I'd go back just for the pie. The waitress was great & it did have a nice atmosphere.

We had a very good lunch. They had a note on the door saying they were short staffed. We waited 15 minutes for a table. The staff was very pleasant and didn't seem to be stressed. The chocolate pecan pie was awesome. I strongly recommend eating here.

The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and the staff was nice. My food was good and the pie was very good! They are doing their best with few staff, so I appreciate that. I hope to come back soon.

Norske Nook is one of the few redeeming gems of Wisconsin. This place has amazing brunch food, and their lefse-wrapped omelettes are AMAZING. The pie is also good, but honestly I come for the breakfast more than anything!

Hands down the best country fried steak I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned and crispy. Even the toast was noticeably elevated from the standard. Highly recommended.
