A wonderful, colorful, and inviting counter service restaurant. We had breakfast and it was delicious. The customer services was excellent. A lot of people was stopping for coffee and leaving. I dislike coffee, but this place was hoping for the morning rush.

Magpie is one of my favorite places to eat in Decorah. We live about 30 minutes from Magpie; and I can't even tell you the number of times I've rushed out the door to make sure I get there in time to order the biscuits & gravy by 10:30! My favorite. I'm only sad they aren't offered all day! My go-to drink is their London Fog; I've never had one better. Friendly staff and such a fun, unique atmosphere.

Mayb the coffee drinks r good, but food not so good this morning. Over easy eggs were hard, sourdough bread was wheat barely toasted?! Magpie burrito OK, not hot & not 3eggs??

The chai! My goodness, the chai! I have made multiple trips to Decorah from Minneapolis over the years just to get a cup (or several). The service has always been friendly, and their food offerings are also delicious. Five stars well earned!

This has been a treat to enjoy for 40 years. I have never had a bad thing. The only challenge is when it's not open, OF COURSE that's when I have time to go.

The coffeehouse is loaded with charm and character from the moment you walk in. I had a delicious breakfast of eggs and bacon. Perfectly cooked food. Worth the trip!

Delicious coffee and the Baristas were super friendly! I got the almond joy latte iced, which was very good. They offer bianco espresso (espresso concentrate with the caffine but no coffee flavor) which was a unique option to have. I will definitely visit again!
