Kafenio

I showed up late in the afternoon and the restaurant was mostly empty. Ordered what I like to call Greek comfort food, the sampler platter and also a side of Greek potatoes. Those two dishes were PLENTY of food! If I'd had someone with me we could have shared and still been stuffed. The atmosphere of Kafenio was exactly what I needed. Soft jazz music playing, quirky artwork, and lovely decor enhanced the delicious offerings. It was the respite I needed as I traveled back to another state. I only wish I'd saved room for baklava.

First time here. Visited on my lunch break on a Tuesday, noonish. The staff are very professional, chill and ready to help or suggest foods/drink for you. I ordered the Zeus breakfast sandwich with a bagel bun, chicken sausage and spiced chai latte. Everything was sooo soooo yummy! I can’t wait to go back and try something different. Food is made to order. There is free parking available. And plenty of seating.

Love this little spot. People were friendly and the food was great. If you go, you must try the fries. The Greek salad was great and I ordered a side of Gyro meat to go on top of was definite. The pieces were nice and big and thick. The Gyro itself was huge with flavor. I ordered extra sauce it was great.

Very nice staff. I was in the mood for coffee and thought this was solely a coffee spot so I was amazed when I saw they offered food (breakfast all day by the way!). The lady at the front was kind enough to help me determine the type of coffee to get. I generally only get coffee at Starbucks and I know that doesn't always equate to the same type of coffee at other places, but she made my coffee just right. My husband got the meat omelette, which he liked. Buscuit was heavy but overall good food. I would go back and try other items on the menu. Also, good portion size as well.
