Wild Crab

Overall this might be the best seafood restaurant compared to restaurants like Juicy Crab & others like it. Now as far as the menu it has a lot of the same items but they also have different items unlike the others like shrimp, chicken & fish tacos & they also have Alfredo’s which include Cajun Salmon, Cajun Shrimp, Cajun Chicken, Fried Lobster Ravioli plus more. The food is delicious the drinks are good, the staff is friendly & it’s a comfortable laid back environment inside. There’s a nice bar with a big tv to watch & an outdoor area to sit & eat especially with the weather getting warmer.

I have a 4 because no fault of their own. They were short staffed today(as a lot of restaurants are these days) and only had 2 servers. We were greeted by the manager and she was very pleasant and accommodating. Our server, can’t remember his name was also very pleasant(even having to handle 2 large parties along with other tables including ours. He didn’t one time act stressed or snappy under pressure and that means a lot. He did the best he could and honestly I can’t complain under those circumstances. I ordered a basket with shrimp and tilapia and unfortunately it came out really dark and smelled of burned or old grease. The server didn’t get upset at all and took it back and gave me the option of ordering something else. I ordered a drink called a blue something but it was not good. It wasn’t balanced with the flavors as I have been here before and had the same drink and it was tasty. So I’m not sure if the other server had to also be the bartender but the drink was not good at all. My two daughters orders the bagged seafood and I as well changed my order and I received it fairly quickly. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience and I will be back. I made sure to let the manager know about how cool, calm and collected our server was even being stretched so thin☺️If the service was this good on a challenging day, it will be even better fully staffed. Keep up the good work but please change out the oil☺️

A lot of these type seafood restaurants have been popping up all around the city. Some are really good and some are just alright. Well, I'm glad that this is the one we got in downtown Decatur. Everything was nice. The hostess was really nice. My server, his name escapes me, was very attentive. The food was good, correct, and it came out pretty fast. I've been here a few times and I'll be coming back again.

Greeted at the door; great server and bartender; food was good. I prefer fresh Calimari but the flavor was good; the Fries were amazing and the Seafood Boil was good and seasoned well. Love the atmosphere and the humongous big screen TV behind the bar. My first visit but will return to try other menu items. $4 Margarita was 👍... The Cosmo needed another shot..

Please note that management has changed & so has my review of this place… the prices are never accurate anymore. The sides are proved extremely high. The happy hour special isn’t as good As the original. They now add gratuity automatically so the service is none existent… the drink menu is priced for top shelf but you will receive bottom shelf liquor, when you have to pay $12 for taka vodka the only thing your guaranteed is a headache. This once was my favorite neighborhood eatery but at this point the management, service, and prices are all trash…… my original review is below however it has completely changed…. This place is amazing!! Trust me bypass all the other crab spots for this!! The flavors are amazing & not to salty! Variety of drinks are great!! They even have a patio which is a plus!

We had a great experience at this location!! Our server Tonya was so accommodating! She was helpful and also gave us the space we needed! (You know how server can be overbearing) she was fantastic!!!!! Henry took care of us as well! The food was amazing!! I am not a seafood eater and I thoroughly enjoyed myself! The drink are worth every dollar! (Shout out to the bartenders) highly recommended!

I went here the other day for the first time, love the concept of these crab boil spots. This one is kind of like a sports bar…HUGE, wall-to-wall TV at the bar, seems like a great place to catch the games, etc. I didn’t realize they closed for a period of time in the afternoon, so when I got there I had to wait about 45 minutes for them to re-open. when I came back, a gentleman who works there put me on to the happy hour special. You can pick three items for $15 and then add whatever else you want in there at the half pound or pound price. The food was really good! Has a different flavor than Juicy Crab… I think it is the cilantro lime they add. Drinks were OK…think I should’ve ordered top shelf. Good service, I will definitely go back soon!
