Napoleon's is the perfect neighborhood bar and grill. Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food (I recommend the pimento cheeseburger, beet salad, and spinach artichoke dip), and incredible owners who truly care about the experience of their customers.

We love Napoleons. Ate there last night and we go there often. Killer craft beer selection and a solid menu with one of the best burgers in the city (and that's saying something!). You can't beat their patio. Sean, the owner, is a great dude with a big heart and an active supporter of many community initiatives. We're blessed to have Napoleons in the neighborhood!

I had a great lunch, conversation, and our server Alison was awesome. The restaurant (and men's room) were brilliantly clean as if your opening was just a week prior.  Thai salad rocked it!

A cut above the regular pub fare....we tried this restaurant after Church on a cold wet Sunday afternoon. No one in our party of four had ever visited Napoleon's before. It's located in a newish strip center and is decorated with deer antler lamps, dark woods, industrial ceilings and the usual TVs but the interior seems a little classier than your average sports bar. The menu is eclectic with brunch served on Sundays. Selections include unusual offerings such as shrimp and grits, salmon BLT, fisherman's stew, burgers with avocados or fried eggs, as well as the usual sliders, fried appetizers and fried fish/chips. We ordered a Lemon Berry French Toast, Salmon BLT, Grouper Sandwich and blackened Grouper with Mac and cheese. For starters we had draws from the extensive beer tap choices and fried calamari with lemon aoli.

Everything was above average in presentation and flavor; the calamari crispy and chewy, the grouper cooked just enough to still be moist and not tough; the French toast beautifully plated with a lemony berry sauce and fresh fruit; the salmon BLT on toasted marble rye bread. We cleaned our plates and felt the meal was a good deal for the price. Service was friendly and efficient and our waiter obligingly took our picture for us.

Prices reflect the cut above average food too! Don't expect $5 burgers here but do expect to get your money's worth. For six beers, one soda and four entrees plus an appetizer out ticket was $89.24 before tip.

My Fave Place. I eat out 8 - 10 times a week. Every week. At the best places in America - with stuff like "bluff oyster from rangitoto with side of local brussel sprout and beet reduction"

Love Naps. It's real.

Local. Friendly. Fun.

I love this place. I don't know what everyone else is talking about when they say their service was subpar or lousy. I guess I'm lucky and have had excellent service every time I've been to Napoleon's, which is at least a dozen times now. One of the bartenders there (I wish I could remember his name) is one of the nicest guys I've ever met and hooked me and my fiance up with a couple free draughts when the food we ordered wasn't available. Another time the server actually gave me a couple of free pint glasses to take home because I mentioned how I liked the shape of them. I've never been there for lunch, so I don't know what that staff is like, but the dinner staff has always been really good to me.
As for the food, I like it quite a bit. The Napoleon's bowl is my go-to favorite, I usually get it with chicken. The tacos are really good. My fiance said the crabcakes were some of the best she has ever had. The spinach artichoke dip is pretty good as well. They have a nice beer selection too, which is a major plus in my books. They were even selling Lefthand Nitro Milk Stout draughts for a dollar one night which is insane.

Needs some work. We have gone to this place about 5-6 times in 2 months, but they still have a lot of kinks to work out.
The burgers always arrive well done, no matter how much you stress medium.
The buttermilk fried chicken is HORRIBLE! It is actually boneless chicken back = dark and greasy meat
Rice tastes like boil-n-bag
Unfortunately its a magnet for local families with screaming, booth-climbing children.
Why do we still go? They have fantastic soft taco choices and good drinks!

Great Pub Experience. The food was awesome and affordably priced. We went on a Friday night, so there was a bit of a wait, but it was well worth it. There was a live band as well. I had the southwestern eggrolls as an appetizer (which were great) and the buttermilk fried chicken, which did not dissapoint my hankering for some southern comfort food. The waiter was very friendly and willing to make suggestions. He also offered sample of their beer list, which was also nice. All in all it was a pleasurable experience and I will definitely return.

More of a high end bar with excellent bar food than a restaurant. Nice staff, good beer selection.

SO Happy to have in 'Hood!. I was very excited to find out this summer that our little corner would be getting not one but two new restaurants. The first - Napoleon's - is open and filling a much needed culinary gap in the neighborhood (the second isn't ready yet. Hopefully soon). The staff is friendly, the food is great, the atmosphere is comfortable. You feel like this is a place where you can take the kids after soccer or baseball, dine with the girls for a fun ladies night out or grab a good, reasonable, bite with your date before heading out to the movies, theater, etc. Napoleon's is a true asset to the neighborhood.

Really Tasty!. I've been 5 times, twice for lunch. I've enjoyed just about everything I've tried. I've had the calamari 3 times and it was outstanding 2 out of 3. The Napoleon burger was awesome. The tacos (Thai chicken & Buffalo chicken) were good, not great. I think the "Asian" slaw might need a little tweaking--that dishwater taste others have mentioned. My favorite by far is the Catfish over soybean succotash--always delicious. I had the Napoleon's bowl and it was outstanding as well.
As far as service, it's been mostly great. Best server by far--Janet. Her timing from drinks to when to bring each course to how often to check on us--was impeccable.
Love this new neighborhood restaurant!!

Nice mix of food choices. Totally impressive on the first visit; something on the menu to please everyone and every taste. Our table had fries, lamb, seafood risotto, pot roast and ravioli-ALL of it was excellent. They have organic wines on the list and available by the glass. Atmosphere was appealing: urban rustic contemporary. The waitstaff was perfect and made sure we were all happy from start to finish.

Came for the Vintage Vixens show. The venue felt a little cramped, but it was a great show. The service was pretty slow, could have used a couple more on staff (I think) - but I get it that people to work these jobs are hard to find (unfortunately). Food was excellent!

Music was great!!! The bartender and the server was also great!! Food presentation was not. I ordered fish n chips and I was very disappointed with the presentation. The fish looked burnt, very burnt looking, very, very brown. Manager came out to speak with me and was not able to rectify my burnt looking fish issue. To the cook. Fish should be golden brown, not dark chocolate colored. To management, not everyone eats anything that is presented in front of them. Some people like me, eats by site. I will visit for the music and drinks in the future. Why I did not order another dish, I did not want to be disappointed again.

Love it. The fish and chips here are better than the ones in any Irish Pub!! My servers are always incessantly eager to please and I feel like the staff really tries their best, even when they are under a lot of pressure from having lots of different tables or a big crowd. They manage to keep a fun attitude and great manners (you don’t find that everywhere). My favorite neighborhood restaurant!!! The food is amazing and there’s everything on the menu for any mood you’re in (tacos, burgers, korean, mediterranean, salads, kids meals, fish and chips, etc).

This is the third visit I have made to this establishment. I really enjoy coming here. The staff is always friendly to us. The menu is delightful with simple tavern food to satisfy any palette. The drinks we ordered came quickly which was amazing considering how busy the bar was. The food was just as amazing. I was a little nervous about that because I heard that they switched chefs and he had a stickler for subbing in his dishes. ( Like holding sauces or ingredients or just replacing this for that) You could tell that the ingredients were fresh. Everything was made to order. Nothing tasted like it had been sitting out. Our server was very attentive and made sure our glasses were never empty, and quickly cleared out our empty dishes. I will be coming back in the future. I highly recommend this place.

Another delicious picnic today, grouper and salmon again. Both were perepared exactly as ordered via ChowNow, and were ready to pick up at the drive through right on time. [8 months ago]Delicious food and excellent service. We had a picnic yesterday with takeout from Napoleon's -- grouper and salmon.

Can't wait to go back. We went there on a Thursday for lunch there weren't too many patrons. It's in a residential area with not too many businesses near by. I'm told its packed at dinner. I ordered the Napoleon and it was superb. I chose the pulled chicken to go with it and it was so tender. I truly can't wait to go back and try some more stuff. The staff was very lovely too.
