Revival Restaurant

I have been itching to try Revival ever since they opened. This place did NOT disappoint! Our server was fabulous, he explained everything beautifully and made great suggestions. We did family style dining, which I highly recommend if your group wants to try a little of almost everything. The fried chicken and meatloaf were outstanding, all of the sides were incredible, particularly the mac and cheese and biscuit dressing. Their desserts were just as amazing. We cannot wait to go back for brunch!

We had dinner there last night celebrating my cousin graduating from nursing school. Since we were a large group they recommend family style. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the food & wine and educated us on there style of Restaurant. We loved it!!! Service was impeccable. We felt totally cater to. They also went the extra mile and gave us all copies of the menu inside saying Congratulations to the Graduate. Well done! Thank you all for the excellent food and excellent service. I am a foodie and would recommend Revival to all I know. We will be back soon.

Our server, Zigfried, was amazing, attentive, and very personable. High end service and food. Our every whim and ask was taken care of with a smile and pleasure. Very impressed with Revival. Amazing food, and a staff that loved to work there. Best combination ever. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I can't say enough good things about Revival! For my birthday my daughter and SIL purchased tickets for us all to go to the Van Gogh Immersive exhibit in Atlanta. She used to live in Decatur and had heard great things about Revival so she got reservations for us to dine there the evening before the exhibit. The great reviews are so right! Absolutely everything was delicious! To start, knowing that we were celebrating my birthday, our waitress, Olivia, brought us complimentary bubbly to toast with. Nice touch! We started with the pimento cheese fritters and deviled eggs as appetizers. The fritters had a bacon jam that elevated them to the next level. The deviled eggs were served with a chutney that did the same. As for entrees, the men both chose the fried chicken which they said was perfectly seasoned and fried. My daughter had the bacon wrapped meatloaf with collards. It was topped with a lovely BBQ glaze.. She loved it. I tasted a bite and I agree. My choice was pork tenderloin served on a bed of creamy seasoned grits and collards. It was probably the best meal I remember having. If I've had better, this meal erased the memory. It was divine! We chose the blackberry sangria to drink. It was lovely. The description says there's fennel in it. I'm not sure if that's what makes it so different and delicious, but I'm going to experiment and try to recreate it. I could have downed a pitcher full! For desert we shared the lemon icebox pie and the banana pudding. They were both superb - creamy, rich, and decadent! I wish I'd taken more pictures as the presentation was as lovely as the taste. I would say their prices are probably commensurate with other restaurants of similar caliber and worth every penny! There are many fine restaurants in the Atlanta area, but when we're back in town, Revival will be at the top of my dining list!
