I stayed at Stovepipe Wells during my visit to Death Valley. They served good food considering the different restaurants I've tried in the national parks. Their portions were huge and had great flavors. The staffs were very friendly and attentive to your needs. They offer a breakfast buffet that was $10 per person and worth starting the day and then exploring the park. I would recommend people dining here if you're staying in the area.
Late arrival in Dead Valley. Looking for good food we found this place based on other good reviews. We had burgers and they were finger licking good. Bunch of fries with them and good cold drinks. Pricing was acceptable. If you are looking for a good meal don’t look further.
This is definitely where you want to eat when you come to Death Valley. The food is really good quality and delicious - the portions are massive for the price. The burgers are delicious. We came for lunch and then drove back from The Ranch for dinner - we were not paying $30 again for a lackluster buffet at The Ranch. They were understaffed but so friendly and the food still came out quickly. For dinner we sat on the Saloon side which was just as good! Atmosphere was nice too!
Great vibe restaurant. I enjoyed the food, settings and service here. Highly recommended!
Middle of nowhere inside Death Valley National Park, this is definitely the best restaurant we visited during our 4-day stay.
Nicely decorated with movie posters and rustic feel.
Waiter was super friendly and welcoming.
Food: Burgers were cooked well and tasty. Pickel and fries/onion rings(+$2) came with the burgers. Highly recommend the Ancho Tortilla soup(a little spicy) and the buffalo chicken wing.
The best meal we had inside the Death Valley National Park.
Good and service here are excellent. Especially for being in a national park.
Our server was funny and friendly. The pasta was amazing and you get a very healthy portion.
I’d definitely eat here again.
We stopped in here looking for breakfast after going to the sand dunes for sunrise. Breakfast buffet was $10 per adult and was decent. Had the basics... eggs, potatoes, sausage, turkey sausage, oatmeal, etc. We had a great waitress... she was very funny and friendly.
I really had a blast at this spot.
We stopped by for lunch on oue way out to do some sight seeing in Death Valley. The staff was the best our server was hilarious. Attentive and fun the food was great. Overall this place was the best restaurant we visited while we' were there' in death valley highly recommend this spot.
Visited with the wife on April 24. We were visiting from Florida and didn't have much time before sundown to explore, so I ordered a flat iron steak from Taylor M and took it to go. My wife diced up the steak and helped feed me while I hightailed it down to Badwater, as Taylor suggested I do, and I must say it was one of the BEST steaks I've ever had!! Even the broccolini and potatoes were amazing. Perfectly seasoned and savory, it unleashed a ton of endorphins while I took in the vast desert scenery while driving. Now i plan to try to recreate this steak back at home, but i doubt I'll come close. I would gladly travel 2000 miles again just to experience that amazing moment in time when the first bite entered my mouth. Absolutely divine, just like the scenery. Thank you Taylor, and the chef, and Toll Road!! And Stovepipe Wells was a very friendly, hospitable and convenient town to visit. Now one of my favorite places on earth! Go there, you WON'T be disappointed!!
Excellent restaurant in a typical American atmosphere with very good food for an acceptable price ! Really enjoyed the visit !
