Dearborn Golden Bakery

For many, many years cheese bread from Golden Bakery has been the only reason why I come here. But overtime, their cheese bread's quality has declined. The bread used to be hot, fresh, soft, fluffy, and light. Now the bread feels heavier and the outer half is always tougher and chewier (like I am chewing on old gum). Another thing that I believe Golden Bakery should improve on is their to go boxes used for hot foods. The box is poor quality and quickly creates a storage environment that works against the cheese bread's thot temperature. The box absorbs all the heat, becomes flimsy from all the moisture, and it cools the cheese bread instead of keeping it hot and fresh. Golden Bakery needs to go back to how the cheese bread once was.

This place has my favorite zaatar and cheese Manasseh in Dearborn! Anytime I’m in the area I have to stop and get some that’s how good it is. I always get extra for the week. If you’re in the area and want to try some really really good food come here and give it a try you will not leave unsatisfied. I have tried a lot of places and nothing comes close to this!

Very good food but needs better managing when it comes to checking people out at register from the people waiting to place an order for sandwiches. The two need to be Separate to make checking out faster and easier for their customers. Since this place is also a grocery store .Had to wait forever in a long line just to ask a question. Even then the young lady acted rude and unpleasant. I go there to give them my business and to enjoy their delicious sandwiches not to be treated that way and wait in a line for my whole lunch break. As far as for their sandwiches I give them an A for taste.
