Red Ruby Restaurant

I am a local resident and have been coming here for years, after today sadly no more, i ordered the basic beef chop sue and beef fried rice not only was it 22 bucks it was awful had no flavor or beef not even a veggie other than bean sprouts. i took two bites and tossed it out, so so sad as this has been my fave restaurant for a long time.. trust me i wont be back, and for gods sake! steam clean the carpets, the place smells bad.. :(

Been going here for 40 years (as a kiddo.) Has always been my favorite also with awesome food, great owner and staff. I ordered Almond Chicken dinner tonight. (Take out only right now.) EVERYTHING WAS TERRIBLE. Nothing like it used to be. Almond gravy like water and no almonds or green scallions, egg roll nasty, fried rice even worse...No fortune cookie... I miss the good ole days of the Ruby..(tears 😭😭😭) I don't see the doors open much longer.

I was really disappointed with the food here, all the breading fell off the chicken and it was so overcooked that most of it wasn't even edible. The egg roll was severely undercooked as shown in the picture. Rice was bland and boring and I may have had worse Chinese food in my life but I certainly would NOT recommend this place or eat there ever again

They are ripping people off. They are charging more money for less food. I have been going here for years and I order the almond chicken with shrimp fried rice. They now batter individual pieces of chicken instead of doing a whole chicken breast to make it look like more chicken and also charged me for 2 dollars extra for 3 pieces of shrimp in my rice when it use to be 5 pieces of shrimp. I know inflation is bad but this is just dishonest.

This is just half of the portion size u get from red ruby! I have been going here for close to 13 years .. since i was a kid. The old man who owns the store you will see him occasionally now when he worked here every time it was wonderful. Food was always good never bad . Untill he stopped being their as much and his kids took over. Food went down. It is still wonderful although some times are hit and miss . Dont eat here one time and judge eat here a few times to really judge . Over all its a great whole in the wall .

This place has gone extremely down hill since they sold to new owners. I ordered tonight and they messed up my whole order and gave me raw chicken and when I had called about getting a refund they owner wanted to yell at me on the phone and I had to ask her to lower her voice then she proceeded to hang up on me. I’ve been going here for 25+ years but after today NEVER again. And don’t think other people should waste their time and money on a place who wants to be extremely rude to customers because they want to serve raw food.
