Super cute cafe, Absolutely amazing food & Wondedful staff. It was totally worth the detour on our trip home from the coast.
This place is great. Friendly staff and good food. The only change I would make is to add some decor so it's not so empty, to add a bit of character to the place. Hope when my husband and I pass through town again, this place will still be around!

Awesome!. My wife and I had an awesome breakfast here. The cinnamon roll pancake was not to be missed, and the loose leaf tea selection was great.

Tempted by their......... Facebook promise of "Breakfast all Day Today!" she who must be obeyed and I ventured to beautiful downtown Dayton Oregon. To my surprise it was, yet another, coffee house/eatery. The walls were adorned with scrawled autographs and messages from patrons old and new. A corner stage and sign boasted "Local Musicians on Friday and Saturday nights." Bacon and eggs having been on my mind for some 40 miles, I was easy on the menu. My bride had a burger which she said was good. Her giant mug of coffee was just a buck. (I didn't know that was still possible.) Companions to my B&E were two slices of good dry rye toast and crispy shredded hash browns. The Pepper Bacon (4 thick strips) was lean and good. All were prepared exactly as ordered. Orange Marmalade (for me a requirement for rye toast) was provided. Our young server was cheerful and pleasant. Worth the drive? Yes, but on a crisp autumn day like this I'd drive 80 miles in this magnificent valley for no reason at all.
Great Cafe!. The Block House Cafe is a nice stop on the way to the beach for breakfast, lunch or dinner! It is just a minute off hwy 18. The breakfast burrito is amazing and huge! The burgers are cooked to perfection! I can't wait to go back.
Great Food, Great Price. I've eaten there a couple of times, and each time the food is fantastic. Good cafe food. The prices are really good. This cafe in Dayton is best new find in Yamhill County wine country!
