They know pizza and beer. Some of the best beer I've had, ever. If you call to order enough, their phone system automatically recognizes you, your preferences, and all you gotta say is, Hi & yes, your order is perfectly prepped in 10 minutes. Great pizza, too. A little on the pricey side but well worth it. This place is highly recommend for your pizza munching craze. And open late. Usually.
We came by with our pup for their outdoor dining area and some grub. They sell pizza by the slice and they are BIG slices. Definitely get your monies worth. The pizza sauce in particular is excellent. They were extremely accommodating of our puppy, even bringing him water. The hostess was very polite as was the cook. 10/10 would recommend
Delicious! We had the gluten free option with the club pizza, it was crispy and very generous on the toppings. With that a local amber beer, all that to go. Perfect pizza day!
I ordered a personal wheat crust and vegan cheese and also a large Grateful veggie with extra cheese on regular crust both with original sauce- Next time, I'll definitely add vegetables to the vegan pizza, but the flavor and texture of the whole wheat crust was phenomenal; super soft, chewy and not at all cardboard like as some wheat crust can be. Also , Woodstock's use Daiya cheese: yum. .
The Grateful Vegetable pizza (with extra cheese) was loaded with veggies and bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. My group was very happy . It's always a great experience going there. Thanks guys! -ALena
I looooove this pizza. The guy that tool our order was so sweet. Hes from SF and my friend and I were visiting from SF. It was an amazing trip and we had a great conversation with all of the staff members. The pizza is outta this world. Only suggestion is if it's being reheated don't put it in the oven for too long. I'd say about 5-6 minutes is the sweet spot
Listen, you can find pizza on nearly every street. But finding a good, no great pizza is hard. Woodstock's has been my go to place since 2006. When I found it in Chico. When I came back I had a hankering so bad about 2 weeks being back home. So got my keys and was about to make that 3 hour drive, when I though there has to be one closer. Did a Google search and boom found the Davis one and I have not stopped making that hour journey since. It's the best. Whenever I hear that someone has not experienced this magical pizza I always take them here! Even a pandemic can't take away how great this place is!
