Blue Taco And Tequila

Blue Taco & Tequila Bar is located in Cinemark's shopping plaza. There is plenty of seating inside, outside, or at the bar within the restaurant. I ordered the Steak Burrito and my wife ordered the Al Pastor Tacos. There were plenty of good flavors between both meals and the side sauce that came with the burrito enhanced the flavors as well. The flavors of both meals were both enjoyable and I would recommend either. Service was quick and our waitress was nice as well. My biggest complaint was that the meals are pretty pricey. My burrito, while a good portion size, came out to $15.75 with no sides. I would value this meal closer to $9 based on my previous experiences from other restaurants. This restaurant gets a very soft 4 Star rating which was mostly helped by the service and good-flavored food. I would maybe go back to the restaurant with a group of friends to check out the bar but there are other restaurants which serve Mexico cuisine at a much cheaper price and with comparible or better quality food.

This place BLUE-my mind! Sorry I had to do it. The staff was extremely friendly following safety guidelines including wearing gloves and masks. There was indoor seating available with more than 6 feet of space between each table, and each table no matter where you sat gave you a good view of the tv’s. Which is great if you are looking to support your favorite sports team while simultaneously supporting your taste buds with a delicious taco. We went all in and almost ordered everything on the menu since we are not from this area and I don’t regret a thing. Below you will find a list of everything I ordered with the highlight meal(A must try if you come here). *Guac and chips: the guac has chunks of avocado and the right amount of lime and cilantro which right off the bat let you know it was made in house. Very refreshing and the perfect combination with their extra crunchy house chips *Queso Fundido: Very cheese and stretchy. The moment it came out the oven they put it in our table so you can see the cheese bumbling still(be careful I burned the roof of my mouth eating this to fast) but Oooo so good. With nice chunks of meat and lightly chopped onion and tomatoes. *Chicken Flautas: the Flautas are very long! And it looks like an avalanche of delicious Mexican garnished is on top with their white sauce that makes is perfect. *HIGHLIGHT MEAL: Chicharrón Tacos: I’m not sure how to describe this but after my first bite I had to stop and think about my life because of how good it was. There’s a perfect amount of meat with little to no fat and a small subtle crunch to make the perfect bite every time. The juices flowed out of every chicharrón allowing your taco to be battered with incredible flavors. Overall I loved this place and will definitely be making an excuse to come back very soon.

My first time here and i had a good experience. I forgot our servers name(she was tall & had long black hair in a pont tail), but our service and food was great. We started off with the eloté and guac & chips. It needed a little more lime and salt, but good. This eloté is the best ive ever had. We also ordered a quesadilla, cilantro rice & beans and 3 tacos(carne asada, barbacoa poblano rojas). We left very satisfied. Thank you

This was a really nice restaurant. Loved the decor and concept. The tacos were really good thou a bit dry. The sauce selection was a little underwhelming and I suggest you stay away from their green sauce but overall it was pretty good. Specially the elotes! Definitely get yourself some of those! Really yummy! The horchata was pretty good too if a bit too sweet. I would for sure come back.

Strange enough, this wasn't my first time here, but damn was it good. You could taste the freshness in everything. The guacamole was on point! I had the chicken & pico de gallo and the grilled shrimp tacos. Soooo delicious. I can't remember what my girlfriend had, but I know she loved it. I do believe I found a weekly spot for us 😁🤤😁

What a local treasure! We wandered in after a long stressful day at Ashley's furniture where the salesperson was trying to sell us a 4,000 sofa. After almost having a heart attack, I came in here to try something new. The elote was just what we needed to save the day. The torta de pescado was amazing. Bread absolutely perfect, delicate, not too fried. The blue tortillas on the tacos were a treat! Definitely opt for those over the regular tortillas. They are handmade daily!
