Ally's Comfort Cafe

I discovered this gem of a diner one morning on my way to an appointment, hoping I could grab a bite to eat and still make it to the appointment on time. My server assured me that would not be a problem. I had hardly begun sipping my coffee when she presented me with my eggs (cooked to perfection) grits and toasted bagel. The man across from me (a regular, no doubt) laughed when he saw the look on my face. “I could’ve told you, you’d be alright.” he said. Also as good as the food and the service, was the price! VERY reasonable!

This place is absolutely the best!!! It took me wayyy to long to leave a review as I’ve been coming here since I moved to Florida almost 10 years ago. The food is BOMB. The pancake and/or French toast specials on the weekend are FIRE - always! All the specials are worth trying. The service is impeccable, the food comes out fast, and the waitresses and bus boys , everyone , makes us feel like family each time we are there. If you’re in Florida, whether you live here or coming to visit, this place is a must.

This is my favorite place to eat breakfast. The food is always fresh and the service is fast and friendly. The food never disappoints. The country fried steak is the best I have eaten and there are weekly new specials that are interesting and delicious. It's a great place for lunch too. The Matza ball soup is Soo good.

YOU JUST GO... That's all you need to know. But if you want more, here it is... This was my first time here. I'm not local, but I needed to make a trip to FLL international airport this morning - so my wife and I stopped here on the way back. As you see above, five stars for food, service and atmosphere. It's not a quiet place. I typically reserve 5 star reviews for places like "The Circle" (if you know, you know). But Ally's Comfort Cafe sets the bar outside of that. And you're going to pay at least $150.00 LESS per plate. :) This little cafe may not be nearby - but you just go anyway. There will probably be a line out the door and a wait to get in - but you just go. You just go......

For what I saw, this local family home style eatery looks and feels great. My first time there because of a wonderful review I read. I looked around and "saw" delicious looking home cooked selections (I'm looking forward to try). They serve breakfast and lunch so the hours are limited (closes 2pm). I had the waffle (not from scratch as I hoped) but their sausages second to none. Pancakes collosal. Looking forward to trying them again. The place is not not big so seating could be a problem. Service very friendly. Lots of parking being in a shopping plaza. Prices are not cheap but reasonable for adequate portions. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

My dad and I stopped by to get lunch, and I have to say we made a good decision! I ordered a hamburger and fries, and it was delicious! Freshly cooked, reasonably priced, aesthetically nice, and had a good amount of flavor. The service was great as well, as the waiters were kind and attentive. I haven't been to Ally's in a very long time, so I didn't know what to expect, but coming out of it, I can happily say I would gladly come back for lunch and or breakfast to try out more of their delicious food.

My experience at this place has a bitter flavor. Personnel is very friendly and took good care of our requests. Coffee flavor was not what I expected (a regular late). Place closes at 6:00 pm sharp, not what I expect for a coffee place, but I might understand that, however, if you expect to spend more time sharing a conversation with friends and family after work, this might not the place.
