Since 1953- I love going to long- standing establishments.
The owner & waitress make you feel like you're at home.
I loved the barbecue chicken, delicious sides & homemade desserts including chocolate cream pie, pecan pie & banana pudding.
Very close to the Hard Rock casino & hotel.
This is a must-try!

Great bbq pork and slaw, not much else to call home about besides their friendly service and selection of pies and desserts. I came back to try their bbq pork poutine which was delicious! I hope it isn't a seasonal item.

Service: greeted to a warm welcome and service was pretty quick given how packed the restaurant was.
Food: ordered a few items and each of them were pretty good, their pork was delicious and I would recommend it as a must try.
Atmosphere: this place has tons of character, small, low ceilings but absolutely humming with hungry patrons.
Price: $5-15. Really cheap for a BBQ place, very refreshing change of pace from usually overpriced and underwhelming BBQ that’s all around South Florida.

Great place for a quick, delicious meal! My son says they have the best spaghetti ever! The staff was nice and in good spirits. Been around forever, solid food, small business definitely worth your time to stop.

Old time original BBQ restaurant been here over 30 years. Small, older atmosphere, fresh made everything. Law enforcement eats here.if you are looking for sweet sticky BBQ sauce this is not your place. These traditional sauces have been around forever and resemble the sauces currently in the Carolina's loose and tasty. Carolina's are more vinagery than this though.

First time here although I've lived in the area since 1965. Brunswick stew, while good, is not a true Brunswick stew. The barbecue was good although based on other comments I'd hoped for better. I like that it was not sauced and you can add sauce as you like. Biggest surprise, and a good one, was that they serve the 3 bean salad from the old Italian restaurant Marinos. Loved that 3 bean mix and it didn't disappoint. Like stepping in a time machine. Glad I finally went and will go back.

Open pit grill. Meat had a nice char. Service was great. Prices good. Greens could use more flavor. Brunswick stew was good with some of their homemade mustard BBQ sauce in it. The fries were crisp and unsweet tea spot on. Te chocolate cream pie was delicious. They have lots of pie flavors to choose from

Had breakfast here with a buddy of mine the egg special with grits toast and I also ordered a side of sausage and potatoes. It was very good for breakfast fare. The grits could be more creamy as it was clumpy but I still enjoyed it. The potatoes were good. The sausage I liked full of flavor and they hand made the patty. Had a slight amount of kick which I enjoyed. Definitely will be back to try lunch.

Original review: the bbq pork is amazing. Just a perfect hint of smoke and melt in your mouth. Get the bbq sliced or chopped pork platter with fries and collard greens, sit at the counter, strike up a conversation and join the brotherhood of bbq lovers! Attentive service at the counter.
