Flashback Diner

I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience at this 24hr diner. Felt like the type of neighborhood diner where the locals go and are known by name. And they continue to go there because they know the food and hospitality will consistently be on point. This diner has clearly figured it out. This will be my new breakfast spot when I'm in the Fort Lauderdale area, for sure!

Honestly I don’t go out to eat breakfast often, but after eating from this place through Ubereats I had to go to this place personally. The food was amazing, the staff were absolutely friendly, and whether you want to sit inside or outside you have that choice. I’d say if it’s 60-70 degrees out is the best time to sit outside.

There is a gem and little known restaurant in Davie, Florida. It’s actually on Davie Road. The Restaurant is called Flashback Diner. The menu is extensive with huge variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. They have so many sandwiches and even have a early bird dinner. The early bird or twilight special is from 230pm to 630pm daily for only $20 plus tax. Choice of 6 selected entrees that includes soup or salad; rice, potato or pasta; vegetable or black beans, dessert and a non alcoholic beverage. They also have a Happy Hour from 230pm-630pm with 1/2 price appetizers. Choice of Onion Ring Towers, Flashback Wings, Mozzarella Sticks, Potato Pancakes, Flashback Shrimp, Hummus Dip, Chicken Tenders, Spanakopita. Domestic Beers $4 Imported Beers $5 House Wine $5/Glass Assorted Cocktails $7 It is a nice comfortable environment with a staff that is very accommodating. The manager is a working manager that helps when the staff is needing a little extra help. The Flashback Diner is open 24 hours a day. I highly recommend you go to the Flashback Diner in Davie, Florida when you are in the area.

Came to this location for the first time on a Saturday morning. We came for breakfast and the restaurant had no wait time. The service was great from beginning to end. It’s a big location with indoor and outdoor tables and would be great for big groups. The breakfast was also good. Everything tasted fresh. I wish the waffles were a bit crispy but that’s just my preference. The French toasts were yummy and everything else was made as requested. I would definitely recommend this location.

I grew up in New Jersey where we had a lot of great diners serving an endless menu of food around the clock. Those craving the diner experience thankfully have Flashback Diner to fill the void. In business for over 30 years with locations in Hallandale, Boca Raton, and here in Davie, they are known for their comfort food dishes like fried chicken, hamburgers, omelets, and giant slices of cake. On the walls hang autographed pictures from the past and the present, featuring movie, recording stars, and celebrity chefs. I especially loved the I Love Lucy tribute across from me. The Davie location has a large outdoor patio featuring karaoke on Friday and Saturdays. It is dog friendly and they have a doggy menu. I arrived for a late night dinner at the Davie Flashback after visiting the Garden of Lights at Flamingo Gardens. I was busy and hasn't eaten all day and I was starving at 11 PM. My server was Eric and within minutes he had my perfectly cooked cheeseburger burger and fries in front of me. He was very nice and even stopped to chat with me a bit which made me feel very welcomed. If you are looking for a snack or a meal at off hours in Davie, Flashback is open 24 hours with an extensive menu including all day breakfast. I loved everything about my visit including the vintage decor, the service, the prices, and the food. My burger was so massive that I ended up taking half home. Flashback ended up being the perfect place to grab a late night meal.
