Amazing sushi. The Davenport roll is a must. A must have anytime I'm in town. Sometimes we order 2 or 3 times in the 7-10 days we are here.

We have been dining at Kumo each time we’ve visited Davenport over the past 7 years and the food never disappoints. The food is clearly freshly made (the sushi is made at the counter near the dining tables) and tastes delicious. The service has been consistent over the years, the waiting staff have been great and the lady at the entrance always looks annoyed that you’ve come to the restaurant and stopped her from doing something else far more important - as this has happened every time we’ve visited, it adds to the charm and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
We had been recommended Nagoya on Champions Drive and we tried like for like food there and Kumo was the clear winner on flavour and quality in our opinion.
We look forward to visiting again next time we’re in Davenport.

Called in a take out order for 7 adults while on vacation. I asked for the orders to be individually packed by order since the last time the rolls were placed together and some were hard to figure out whose was whose.
The person taking the order was also the person who help me when I arrived to pick up the food. There 20-30 minute window took about 5 minutes longer and was about 35 minutes, which was not a problem especially because of the individual packaging.
We had edemame, seaweed salad, kumo salad, spicy tuna, spicy salmon, shimp tempura & dragon rolls.
Food was very very good. We really enjoy the sushi from this restaurant. It is a go to stop each year on vacation for at least one meal during our trip.
I recommend if your in the area to check this place out. Our timeshare is right on 192, so the few mile drive to 27 and then to Kumo is worth the trip.

I think I come here more than any person in Davenport, I often get sushi to go 2 or 3 times a week. I am a big fan of the salmon roll, Jacks roll, eel roll, and lady butterfly. The service is fast and everyone is very polite, I love coming here. They certainly have a loyal returning customer, I don’t plan on going anywhere else any time soon. The price point I think is fair and the quality is always great. Come here

Good Japanese food! I had sushi and my friend got the Chicken Teriyaki and we both really enjoyed our food.
reasons I didn’t give it 5 stars:
-the food was really good, but nothing exceptional or something I haven’t had before at any other decent Japanese place
-the ambiance is close to good but not quite, the harsh white lights make it feel like a cheap Chinese place. The decorations are nice but they should get warmer lights to make it feel more cozy.
- only one type of sake
all my gripes are extremely picky things that don’t matter to most people so if you are just looking for a tasty meal that’s not too expensive this is a great place to go!
you’ll spend between 10-20 per person unless you are getting drinks which will bring it closer to 35 per person or more if you are an alcoholic.

Visited again and really enjoyed the food.
Great sushi at reasonable prices.
Good fresh seafood and the owners were friendly and gave us good recommendations for their specialty items. The fried salmon skins were my favorite appetizer and my date loved the dumplings. We ordered 4 rolls and had to take some home for later. It was alot of food. We will go back here for our sushi again.

Absolutely delicious!! This is a small family owned place that we stumbled across after a long day at Disney. My picky kids were hungry and I was really wanting good sushi. This place delivered!
They have kids meals which are huge so my never full, always eating, growing boy was satisfied. My husband and I got several sushi rolls and they were amazing...give the Daven Port a try...it's worth every cent! The sushi was fresh and delicious.
The service was fantastic as well. Like I said, it's a small family business, so the son was helping wait tables while doing homework. He was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
I would highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.

The whole plaza area where this place is located has great restaurants, this location is no different. Love the coziness of the location and the friendly staff. I had the Udon noodles and they were great, loved the broth and my wife had the Tempura which was also good. This place is preety small just an FYI.
