Champy's

Stopped here for a quick dinner. We were seated immediately out on the enclosed patio. I had fried chicken and fries that were excellent. My husband had the buffalo wings and Coleslaw which he said was very good. He really enjoyed the margarita he was served. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive to us. We will come here if we are ever in the area.

Would like to give 4.5 stars but that wasn't an option. Overall everything is really good here. The only reason for a half point deduction is that I feel like the food is overly spicy. There's no "not spicy" option on the menu. It's just the seasoning they use for everything. Other than that everything is great. If you like spicy food then you'll probably give it 5 stars.

The chicken was tough and not hot. Sliced white loaf bread?? Really?? Green beans were wierd tasting. Slaw was huge chopped cabbage which resulted in a tough, unable to chew mess. It also had weird taste. Mashed potatoes tasted like real potatoes. "Homemade" mac and cheese was huge pasta swirls with cheese whiz or Velveeta--awful. The sides were served in the tiniest condiment cups. Two plates/no drinks with tip was $30. I wish I hadn't read all the glowing reviews. The one star was for the mashed potatoes.

I have bern visiting this place since they opened. I for one think they have really good chicken. I have always ordered their 3 piece wing meal for 9.99.... about 6 months I was informed you can only get 1 wing due to a shortage so I paid 3 50 per wing of 3 plus my sides alacart. I did this atleast 3 times. I was told 2 things. There is a shortage which I believed to be true.2. We found out customer s are willing to pay the price for them so....I was one of them. 6 months later tonight it was the same thing tonight. There is no Wing shortage at any other restaurant in town where I ask for the same... This is not the right thing to do for customers bottom line! I can t let it slide. It s really not the price. It s the wrong doing. If their distributor is shorting them it s not the customers fault. Find a new distributor. If you find the customer will now pay 3.50 per wing for 3 plus sides change your menur price to reflect a 15.00 plate..or better yet just say you no longer offer wings at a premium price. I m not sure but it seems so dishonest to me. I recommend them often but this is do disappointing to me
