Baumhower's

Their food was great! Bacon Cheese fries with their queso was delicious. Shrimp tacos were so good! Husband's burger was decent. Front hostess was rude so our first impression wasn't great. There was no room to wait inside so we went into their patio area. They never called but we went inside to see the status and they were all of a sudden ready for us.

Not all sports bars are created equal and Baumhower's certainly sets a pretty high standard. The place was clean, the service was excellent (thank you Kendall), the atmosphere was relaxed and the food puts standard bar fare to shame. Pictured is an OMG burger and an excellent take on chicken and waffles. Getting a delicious burger with a hand formed patty and on point chicken and waffles at a sports bar... What will they think of next? I will be making this a regular stop and encourage you to do the same. You won't regret it.

We were passing through on our way back to Texas. Google review on maps said “the best burger ever!” So we thought we’d try it. We had to wait when the place we were in wasn’t busy - hostess acted like she would rather be anywhere but at work. Our two kiddos asked for a refill on their kids’ drinks and our waitress said it was a charge of $.99 each - is that common here?! Restroom had much left to be desired, and there was no changing table, so a mom was trying to change her infant on the sink counter (seriously?!) The food was good but it takes more than good food to have a good restaurant.
