LOVE ROYAL DONUT!! As a kid my dad would walk my sisters and i just up the road to our local royal donuts. For a great snack or breakfast. The BEST donuts, I am a danville native but now live 5 hours away and still after trying many shops have found these to be my favorite! They catered for our wedding and were GREAT! I have seen lots of changes in the almost 20 years I remember royal donut, they’ve narrowed down a lot of their flavors but still can’t beat the chocolate eclair and the chocolate yeast with sprinkles! A MUST stop in Vermilion County!

The best donuts in town. Always have been and always will be. The menu has slightly shrunk and a few donuts have been discontinued, but they still have that hot chocolate for a cold day. You've got to get there early if you want them donut holes because they seem to be sold out first.

The best eclairs I have ever had in my life!!!! The sugar cookies are also the best if you've never tried them it's a must.

Today was my first day there and the lady was rude. We went to the drive through asked what kind of donuts they had and she said she wasn't going to stand there reading off the menu. I can understand that but she could have been a little nicer about it. We went inside so I could see she still seemed to have an attitude. Poor customer service. :-(

I stopped in while in town on business. The donuts are great, but it's difficult to figure out what they have when ordering through the drive through, which is the only way to buy right now. There is no menu posted anywhere, so when you get to the window, you're forced to ask what they have, which greatly slows down the process. Hoping they open up soon to walk in traffic
