Outback Steakhouse

Second time going here in the past month and service has been terrible, we waited 30+ mins for drinks and apps. Drinks were okay, but salad was horrible (didn’t finish). By the time food arrived I wasn’t in the mood for anything due to service and wait , but food order also wasn’t correct. When asked what’s going on tonight the waitress replied “I’ve been set up tonight”

1st time in a while I decided to go to Outback and was very disappointed. I ordered the full rack of ribs with loaded potatoes and broccoli curbside. They were busy as usual when we pulled up but we did not have to wait long. Within 5 minutes we had our order, and went on our way. After much anticipation I sat down to eat and took my first bite. I could not pull them apart I had to cut them. When I finally got a piece and bit into it I pulled meat and membrane. The meat was not tender and the membrane should have been pulled off. Potatoes were definitely cold and had no seasoning whatsoever. My wife and I was highly disappointed. Outback could have done much better, we expected better. It will be a long while before we visit again if we visit.

Whenever I’m in town, my family and I love going to this outback. The food is always delicious but the real reason we keep returning is because of the service. We’ve been lucky enough to have Jacklyn as our server on multiple occasions and not only is she always on top of things when it comes to the job but she is the kindest and most personable server I’ve ever had. She makes the experience so much more enjoyable. My grandmother isn’t an easy one to please when it comes to being waited on but she absolutely adores Jacklyn. 10/10 recommend.

The steaks were cooked to temp and well seasoned; very tender ribeyes. The blooming Onion was well battered, not overdone and not greasy on the bottom. The service was spectacular. I'm sure I'm butchering her name so I apologize. I'll be happy to edit it correctly for a response but... Alileah? was one of the best servers I have ever had. It felt like a Ritz-Carlton fine dining experience. She anticipated our needs (offering things like condiments and menu suggestions) kept our drinks full and she was extremely friendly. Even though the place was busy we could tell our food was brought out promptly and didn't sit in a window somewhere. Hadn't been there in a while and the place exceeded our expectations.

John was our waiter/server and he made our experience wonderful. All our food was delicious and John saw to all our needs. He was timely for everything refilling our drinks and he was helpful making suggestions for our order. I would highly recommend the Outback Steakhouse Danville, VA and would highly recommend John as your waiter/server. You will not be disappointed. Great job, John!

This Outback has always been consistent with their food. I don't visit often but when I do it's always good but always a wait. This is a very popular spot so call ahead seating is highly recommended. The wait staff and bartenders we had the last time we visited were very friendly. The restaurant was clean and the food was hot and fresh.
