My go to place! Great food, awesome staff and family friendly! I am not sure what they do to their French fries but there the best in town!

Norms Place offers an array of comfort eats and amazing bar with funky décor and great environment. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We went there for a family lunch and relished Wheat Beer, Iced Tea, Apple Juice, Milk (for kids) for drinks with Pickled Chips (awesome), Pretzel and Nachos Grilled Chicken for Starters. Our main course was Crab Clam Chowder, Fried Shrimp, Ali Poke, Chicken Wings and Kids’ Chicken Tenders & Kids Grilled Cheese. The dishes were well cooked, fresh and delicious. The staff are helpful and great.

Norm's Place is fire. Food is legit. Atmosphere is outstanding and they are even opening up a back patio this week. Some of the highlights: Chicken Wrap, Nachos, Sweet Potato fries and beer selection. If you want a fun quick place to stop in Danville CA. This should be at the top of your list!

Very lively on a Friday night for dinner. Lots of TV's (They don't play the sound...at least for the Warriors game that was on most TV's). Plenty of quality beers. Great bartenders. The Spinach and Artichoke dip is less of a dip and more of a cheesy topped S/A sandwich. Still good. Diablodilla was def. tasty. Recently had the Ahi Fish Tacos for lunch. I highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of hosting the Monte Vista Men's basketball auction at Norm's Place in downtown Danville, and I can confidently say it was a night to remember! We booked their private room, which recently opened and it was a STATEMENT! From the impeccable service to the amazing cuisine, every aspect of our event exceeded my expectations! Gerry, the manager at Norm's Place, deserves special recognition for providing stellar service throughout the evening. His attention to detail and commitment to ensuring our event ran smoothly were truly commendable. Gerry and his team went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The staff at Norm's Place was nothing short of amazing. Their professionalism and friendliness added to the overall positive atmosphere of the event. It was evident that they were dedicated to ensuring every guest felt welcome and well taken care of. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the buffet, which boasted a mouthwatering array of dishes. The short ribs were tender and flavorful, the chicken was perfectly cooked, and the stuffed mushrooms were a delightful surprise. The mashed potatoes and veggies complemented the main courses beautifully, offering a well-rounded and satisfying dining experience. To top it all off, the dessert—fruit à la mode—was a showstopper. The combination of fresh fruit and a luscious ice cream made my taste buds dance with joy. It was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. What impressed me most was the proactive and attentive nature of the Norm's Place staff. We never had to request anything; they anticipated our needs and exceeded our expectations at every turn. This level of service truly set Norm's Place apart. In conclusion, Norm's Place in downtown Danville delivered an exceptional experience for our Monte Vista Men’s basketball auction. From Gerry's outstanding management to the incredible staff and delicious food, every element contributed to making it a night we'll fondly remember. I highly recommend Norm's Place for any event or dining experience—you won't be disappointed!

Great atmosphere, vibes, and customer service. The food was good as well but didn't try much from the menu. Ordered a burger and some nachos. I'll have to come back to try more!

Wings were super crunchy and meaty so they were awesome! Appetizer Buffalo Cauliflower was spicy and yummy. Skip the fried shrimp they are the smallest size shrimp in plain batter breading. Not worth it. Asian Lettuce wraps are big and tasty but you have to assemble them yourself. Kids meals comes with ice cream per the menu. We were given a vanilla cup of ice cream with whip cream on top. No options. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Multiple TVs playing sports.

Norms service reps are great. Friendly. Fast. And great neighbored gig spot to grab a drink and try their French fries. They keep the place cool and fresh and airy! Try it if you are in downtown Danville.

I walked in with my kids at lunch time on a Saturday. It was busy, but we got a seat in a couple minutes. We sat in the "expanded" outdoor seating area, which is basically the parking spots on the road. At first I thought it was a little weird, but quickly forgot about it. My kids both had the corndog plate with fries. The corndog was good, but the fries were great! I had the steak salad, which was a little heavy on the dressing, but overall tasty. The beer selection was good, so I left happy. I'm sure we'll go back soon.

Can't beat $1 tacos for Taco Tuesday! The magic happens between 3-5pm. We traveled a good way just to try their tacos, and they actually weren't bad! Definitely not the most authentic, but they were full of meat and flavor. There's ground beef, chicken, and carnitas to choose from. We liked the carnitas the best! Unfortunately, there was a wasp outside that continued bothering us (apparently it's a seasonal thing here), so we moved indoors halfway through our meal. Didn't run into any problems after that! We also got some onion rings ($7) as a side snack, which tasted great with ranch on the side (didn't come with ranch, but we asked for it and they were happy to oblige). Prices for non-taco dishes here seem a bit inflated to me, but the downtown area here does seem bougie and pricey to begin with. Really nice and attentive servers, as well. Thanks for a good time, guys!
