This is the only authentic Chinese restaurant that I have found in the North shore area. It's definitely a no frills place - the restaurant is very small with few staff, food is served on paper plates etc. However the dishes are all delicious and cheap. Make sure you get the soup dumplings and all the other buns/dumplings that they have on the menu. I would say that their soup dumplings are even better than the ones from the much more popular Dumpling House in Cambridge.

For a fast food take out/sit in place, the food was as good as a gourmet restaurant. The dumplings had so much filling and tasted excellent, the sushi were as good as any top sushi restaurant and the prices were reasonable. I would totally recommend Dumpling Garden any day. Some of my friends wish they have delivery to their towns. A great gem in the heart of Danvers, MA and I believe they also have a location in Saugus. I give it 5 Stars!

We ended up getting way more food than we needed because it all sounded good, and the portions were big! The pan fried dumplings were the largest I have ever gotten at a restaurant, and they were delicious. The crab cream cheese wontons were the best we have ever had too, and they had lots of filling as well. The Kung pao chicken was good, but I prefer it a bit spicier. The orange chicken was good also, but the star of the dinner were the dumplings and wontons. Highly recommend trying!

Definitely one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in MA. Its authentic Shanghai dishes always remind me my hometown, the most pretty city in China - Shanghai. The food is so delicious and the waiter/waitress are very friendly. Will go regularly.
