Desert Moon Cafe

These unfavorable reviews seem like they're steeped in comparison to Chipotle, which is doing Desert Moon a great disservice, although frankly, I would say that Desert Moon is superior as far as the food itself is concerned, if we're doing this comparison game. The employees at this location (from what I've seen, the only remaining location - quite a shame) are efficient and quite friendly so long as you aren't treating them as if they're below you, as I've seen people do while in line behind them. You can't fail with the menu here- everything is great. I prefer the vegetarian options, although when I have dabbled with their more carnivorous selections, I still never found myself to be disappointed. I am a staunch advocate for the consumption of Desert Moon and if you've ever believed the sort of negative hype that mall-goers have attributed to DM, I hope I've given you reason to reconsider. All this being said, I considered taking one star off for being situated in the mall food court. Desert Moon used to have several locations around the area and, unfortunately, this is the last remaining one in Connecticut. I hope they can expand again one day, as I love their food and wish to enjoy it in a different environment. But no less, if this is the only problem I have with DM, then I see no reason to rate them differently. Thank you. Mickey Blurr Artist/Producer © 2018
