This is a nice little breakfast place to get food at a reasonable price. The staff and owners are super friendly and are more than willing to go out of the way to help you. They will go out of their way to make sure you leave happy. Also it is an extremely well maintained too.

I found this place on the way to NY.. I was a little thrown because it is almost at the back of the little shopping center. I am soo glad I went in anyway.
Sonny's is the epitome of Old School feeding and serving.
No fluff just good old fashioned service and delicious food with decent prices.
The two servers were well under 20 but were clearly trained well and certainly understood the assignment.
Sonny came out and introduced himself, which made the visit even better.
Hidden treasure... If I am that way again, I will make it a point to stop by again.
Thanks Sonny and family!!!

Not often does simple food rise to the level of exceptional. Sonny Side Up manages this feat.
Take that breakfast staple: the egg. An egg contains perfection. Whether that is improved on they path to your plate depends on the skill of the chef. You are in good hands with Sonny. If you have never experienced the joy of a perfectly cooked egg, you are in for a treat.
This is a family restaurant in the best sense of the word. Sonny is the chef, his wife Diane and their wonderful daughter work the front, and both food and service are consistently exceptional. Sonny Side Up is a restaurant worth travelling to.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday mid-morning at the end of August 2020. It wasn't busy. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with home fries (served Sundays only). They were pretty good. The eggs had plenty of Hollandaise sauce and the home fries had good texture and taste. I appreciated that the home fries were not made with onions or green peppers.

This is a small and affordable place with damn good breakfast food. I think they make the best pancakes I've ever had - super soft, fluffy, and delicious. Bacon came with my order and to my astonishment I was given a small bacon mountain that I happily scaled while sipping my coffee! The owner even came out to check on everyone. Start your day off right and eat here.
