Spent the day with some friends in Dana Point whale watching and afterwards decided to look up a good dessert place and came upon Rita's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard
The most delicious custard I've ever tasted:smooth, creamy, and delightful to the palate
The Italian ice was also very tasty
I appreciated the various amounts of flavors on hand and the fact that samples were handed out upon entry to the store

This is an enjoyable place for a quick dessert. The flavors are good. Sadly, the one I wanted was out for the evening.
Service was great and accommodated what I wanted, though different than what I had wanted. (2nd thing out)
Prices were very high for the small amount of product given. This is the only reason I will go elsewhere.

My 17 y/o daughter suggested I try this out. 8 pm on a Friday night and the line to order was long. For good reason. The custard I got was mouthwatering.

Best custard and Italian ice. My favorite black cherry with real fruit.
The owners are the servers, and are great. Hand scarf comes with the cup ( ask) :)
