I couldn’t be more pleased with our experience at this restaurant. Upon arriving, it was not hassle with seating. We sat outside. Pets are allowed on the outside. Beautiful boat area where you can watch while you eat. The guest within themselves were friendly! The server greeted us, we ordered morning drinks. Then breakfast! While waiting the owner came out talking to everyone. Seems like a norm, the other guest knew him. He asked us where we was from, he was thrilled to find out we were from TN. We discussed the area and he gave my husband inputs on the areas that surround us while visiting this area. When our food arrived, which was in no time, he ceased the convo and let us eat! The pets were even given water bowls. However the food was very good. I got the meaty omelet with short stacks. My husband got French toast. Our waiter checked in on us often. The potatoes were seasoned, pancakes were fluffy and good. If you like omelets it was very meaty. Thank you Mr.Steve and our waiter thanks for an awesome experience. Please go visit if you’re in town for vacation.
We really loved this little spot by the water. Very chill atmosphere with a bar and grill feel, but some pretty good fresh choices as well. The open air seating was great on a sunny day.
I had the tuna avocado sandwich and it was fantastic and exactly the fresh bite I needed when paired with the coleslaw. There were plenty of options for the kid, who surprisingly ate all their food.
The service from Nancy and AJ was top notch. Any small issues that we did run into were immediately resolved perfectly. Overall, we loved this place and we would return in a heartbeat next time we are in Dana Point.
It was my fav place for breakfast. Very quaint and unknown. Then it burned down and was rebuilt to accommodate the new crowd. I guess it’s still ok. But it can never be “better”. Somethings. SOMEthings aught to linger a little longer, that’s all.
🍳Breakfast by the Beach🏖
Came here this morning with friends.
We had party of 18
We seated in a timely manner. Due to the fact we called ahead.
Food was good and portions were just right.
Nice thing they accomadated all of us and allowed us to pay 💸 our bill separately with a large group.
Give Proud Mary's opportunity to earn your business you won't be disappointed. Best thing the restaurant is right on the water.
Finally made it to Proud Mary’s for some breakfast. Good food and ambiance with a nice view of the harbor. The chairs sat a little low to the table which could be a nuisance if you’re short. I had the eggs Benedict which was very satisfying. They were a little heavy with the hollandaise sauce, but it didn’t take too much away from the dish. Very good service and kept my coffee full.
I had the Mahi sandwich blackened. Husband had the western burger. Everything was very tasty. Portions were perfect. Service was very friendly. View of the harbor. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Thank you

Jared and Ashley were wonderful with their service. Completely on point.
I didn't get the Hostess' name, but she made sure we were seated and taken care of.
The breakfast dishes were ample and tasty.
Likewise for the cocktails.
Thank you, Proud Mary's.
Always a great experience.
🌊✌️❤️
I have since been back twice and the service and food was as amazing as always. This is honestly a gem of Dana Point.
I’d like to publicly apologize to the business and the server. There was an extreme circumstance outside of the interaction that I should have not taken out on either. Completely my horrible fault and wrong of me. This business and staff is always the best.
Came here with friends for a Sunday brunch and had a great time. Bloody Mary's were great and the food was delicious. Who would enjoy a meal on the harbor? Locals seemed nice and the staff was very helpful and patient. I'll be coming here again.
Excellent food, service, drinks, and vibe! Great location! Don't pass this one up!
