The food was DELICIOUS. Ice machine is broken and you have to get ice from a container which I am not a big fan of but whatever. You have to place your own order, go get it and refill your own drinks so not so great of a dine in experience but if you want to order to go the food is AMAZING and you get large portions.
Best American Chinese food I've had yet in Texas, very affordable too! My husband got the shrimp lo mein and I had the sweet and sour chicken, we both ordered them spicy, and we also ordered appetizers of cheese wontons and egg rolls, all was delicious! The spicy is just the right amount of spice to us, if you enjoy eating jalapenos you'll enjoy the spicy, and the taste of the peppers itself is very good! All of this was about $30. Will gladly eat here again when in the area!
I will say the food is somewhat bland compared to what most Americans are used to, it's not super salty or overly sweet and the fried rice is plain rice, soy sauce, and oil (it's also a bit on the dry side but in Asian cooking you actually want that in a fried rice, that's why they use old rice for it), but the food still has enough flavor and the quality of the cook on everything is so good that I really do not mind one bit. The orange chicken has an amazing crunch as does the other fried foods like the wontons and egg rolls, there are also candied orange peels in the orange chicken that take an already amazing dish up a notch. The lo mein tastes delicious and I find it hard to describe what makes a good lo mein, but I have had plenty of "okay" lo mein, theirs is exactly what you want in a lo mein and I haven't had what I would consider to be a good lo mein in Texas until I came to this place.
Just happened to be driving in the area craving some Lo mein , Cashier was really friendly took my order immediately as I entered establishment , you can definitely tell family owned business , food came out promptly and hot. Enjoyed my chicken Lo Mein , plenty left over for leftovers couldn’t finish it all 😊
Excellent establishment. Took my order as soon as I walked in. Good was ready quickly, look and taste amazing. Will definitely be back.
Their flavorful dishes, generous portions, and clean, professional kitchen create an exceptional experience with that authentic
Came here for lunch. Food came out very fast. Hard working man took my order, cooked the food, and brought it to my table within 5 minutes. Kung pao chicken was delicious, though may be better with white rice instead of the fried rice with soy sauce. Very generous portions at a fair price! Will be back
I got the vegetarian lomein, which was amazing. The flavors were authentic and delicious. Plus the portion was really generous, and the gentleman who was running the restaurant was super sweet and helpful . This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant!
The chicken lo mein was absolutely incredible. It had tons of flavor and wasn't overly greasy. The orange chicken had a wonderful orange flavor with orange peels in the sauce and some red pepper for heat. We also got the shrimp with lobster sauce that did disappoint us, however he made up for it with a nice lightly fried flavorful egg roll.
Service was good and it didn't take long to get my food and specials start at 6.99. I ordered Orange Chicken which was good but the rice could've been better.
I got the house chicken and an egg roll. Some of the best chinese ive had in AGES. I'll be stopping by again when I'm in Dallas next
