Tried this location after church and enjoyed it. Although I was craving a different food item and they didn’t have it, the avocado toast was pretty good. The fries were a plus because I really wanted potatoes 😅. But atmosphere is good and the servers were good. Took a little long to get our food and I didn’t know they were out of ingredients to the original dish I wanted, but overall still pretty good experience.
Came in for breaky with my best friend on Monday around 8am. Nice and quiet, hardly anybody in the restaurant, we got seated immediately and ordered drinks. I ended up getting the migas with chorizo and my friend got the berry waffle with a side of scrambled eggs and 2 slices of bacon. The migas were very delicious and I love that it came with hashbrowns. The chorizo is not overly salted. I ended up taking home some leftovers since it was quite a big plate. My friend enjoyed her dish too, very soft waffle, a heaping of scrambled eggs and 2 perfectly cooked pieces of bacon!
Actually I was really disappointed with my omelette today but.. still give it to five stars because of our waiter is very friendly
The food was great and the service was stellar. The atmosphere made that much more enjoyable during our visit. I couldn't say more about this place. Although I don't live close to here, I will find a way to visit again.
Overall good food. Blueberry pancakes were an up charge with the omelette breakfast, and they were regular pancakes with fresh blueberries on them. Traditional breakfast is small portioned but tasty.
This is by far the best Eggsellent Cafe location! The new owner is a phenomenal host and very friendly. All of the food came out quickly and tasted better than anticipated. Definitely take time and give this location a try. The skillets are great!
Excellent service but the breakfast items were sub-standard.
Couldn't understand why the Tuscan Omelette was so dark and more on the solid side than the soft side. Also, the choice of cheese could have better.
The Veggie Skillet came in a pretentious ceramic skillet. The scrambled eggs had been tossed over a bed of veggies. What kind of short order cook would do that?
The pancakes were fluffy but ...
Food was amazing, waitstaff was attentive and cordial and the owner is…not enough good words for him. Awesome!!!
This review is for the Cafe Venice Italian restaurant that operates in the same space for the evenings.
We stopped in recently for an early dinner and left very satisfied!
We started with some tasty cocktails and bruschetta, and then waited for our entrees. Wow! They were visually appealing and equally delicious. I tasted two of the pasta including the penne arrabiata and the bucatini carbonara. Both were well-seasoned and I liked that the carbonara wasn’t too heavy. The arrabiata had a hint of spice as is standard. The other two dishes looked great and were enjoyed by our friends. Linguini fra diavolo and chicken Parmesan.
Following our entrees, we decided to share a piece of tiramisu! Wow! So luscious, yet light!
Service was great and right now they have half-priced wine bottles Mon-Thur.
Decor was subtle and tasteful and everything seemed very clean.
A warm welcome as soon as we arrived. What a difference from the awful "Snooze" down the street where 'snooze' appears to refer to the management style.
They serve Segofredo coffee, which is rich and flavorful, in sharp contrast to the ditchwater we had at IHOP the previous week.
Salmon Eggs Benedict with Hash Brows and Avocado Eggs Benedict with a fruit bowl were both excellent. Condiment containers on table were full and free-running.

This location has had a different identity every year. I don't know why, but hopefully Eggsellent will remain true to its name and around for many years. We will be back.
