This is overall a really cozy spot! It’s attached right beside a book store which makes the vibes even better. The service is amazing! I would 10/10 recommend if you are looking to spend a cheaper amount on a coffee, this is your place!
This is mine and my besties go to when we have time to meet up!! We start with lunch and always get the Rembrandt that is always incredible with a lavender latte for me, and a mocha latte for her. After lunch we wander through the attached half price bookstore for usually 30 mins to an hour, buy a book and sometimes cards, or knickknacks before heading back to the Black Forest Coffee for dessert, another latte for me, and water for her. The desserts are absolutely amazing!! Always fresh, never tasting like the inside of a refrigerator!!! We had the white chocolate raspberry tart last time. Can't wait to go back!!!!
Had one of the best lattes ever here, English toffee latte! Excellent quality and great prices, definitely get a muffin - I recommend the lemon poppyseed!

Other than the wonderment of being inside a bookstore, this coffee shop is my favorite. The have THE best chi latte. It's 100+ degrees right now and I still had to stop for a large, hot cup. Staff is always great and the variety of fresh drinks and food at reasonable prices keeps me coming back.
Amazing place to work/study, eat, relax and have some of their amazing coffee. I come here a lot to work/study and I am here from open to close. They never disappoint!!
Friend's and I ventured over last weekend after we had dinner, as it has been sometime since we have been to Black Forest Coffee.
We❤️love the Florentine cookies. Unfortunately it was closed. Hours have changed and closing early. We will be back, but please consider extending your hours🙂
I stopped by Half Price Books to sell some items and was delighted to find that Black Forest Cafe was next door/attached! I grabbed an oat milk latte while I waited on my book sales, and the latte was amazing! The staff was also SO friendly, which was an added bonus. I didn’t get any food, but the pastries in the display counter looked extremely tasty, and the couple who sat near me had a massive slice of cake that looked incredible.
This is my favorite coffee shop!! Super tasty coffee, friendly staff, and such an amazing atmosphere and location. ;) I love to get a latte and just sit in the bookstore and crochet. I’ve heard their desserts are good too! This is a bit picky, but I also really like how they have honey out you can use for your coffee and put however much you want (I haven’t been back post-Covid, so I don’t know if that’s still the case). Highly recommend this place!
This coffee shop is tucked into the Half Price Bookstore. It has outlets and tables so you can work or read. I love the staff. They are always friendly and patient. I tried their triple layered chocolate cake with strawberries between each layer. It was very good!
Aside from the coffee, excellent croissant turkey sandwich and delicious chocolate cake! Great first date place
