I've been coming here for about 10 years and love it every time The food is always hot and very homemade, love the homemade corn and flour tortillas, the hospitality is awesome .The waitress Liz is very friendly , throughout the years the restaurant has been upgrading it's look ,seating out on the patio on a nice spring morning feels nice. I recommend this place.
May you continue to succeed !!!
I love this restaurant for the past 100 years (jk) Their food is real Mexican!!!
Like to come early in the morning to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee and my fav; chilaquiles rojos, the best!!!
Excellent Chilli Rellones, homemade flour tortillas just like the one made by my Abuela! Service is the best, place is decorated nicely and reminds you of a real place in Mexico. If you want authentic Mexican food and atmosphere, this is the place to go. The drinks are awesome, and we'll presented
I’m here now. Read a bunch of reviews before committing to this place for chilaquiles. The mimosas were the deal sealer for me tho, as many authentic Mexican places don’t have cocktails for breakfast/brunch, much less mimosas. Service has been really excellent from the moment I sat down. I ordered a mimosa which was a whole mini bottle of Prosecco that they opened and poured for me here. 👌🏽 already a plus that it’s not just one small flute! I ordered chilaquiles rojos with over medium eggs. These were spicy!! But they were SO good and if you’re expecting chilaquiles without a kick then why are you even eating chilaquiles! 10/10 red sauce flavor. Beans were delicious. I started sweating bc of the spice and they brought me an extra napkin without me asking 🤣. I’m so glad I came. Outside seating on a beautiful day like today was the icing on the cake. They’ve got fans running outside and it feels so comfy. Plus great music! Excellent vibes
This food is very authentic, I think is now one of my favorite Mexican food spots! There were a few things that I didn’t like but it wouldn’t stop me from coming back. The first is this is a mom and pop shop so the waitresses need just a little work. The parking area sucks. Other than that I’d definitely be coming back! They do have menudo only on Saturdays and Sundays
The best Menudo you'll find in East Dallas. Most of the Staff is great. Love Sunday breakfast after church with the family. Our coffee mugs stayed full. Fresh homemade Tortillas & salsa.
Yesturday we visited @margaritasdallas for some awesome dinner. We had mole enchiladas and Fajita sopes. It was great! The margaritas were strong and the michelada was also good👌🏼. They have a nice front patio to sit and enjoy this nice weather we’ve been having ☺️.
Came here because the 2 reviews on caldo de res seemed good and my husband has not been able to find a decent caldo in all of Dallas. The caldo was ok and he would return. He said he liked the flavor but the caldo was lukewarm and needs to be much hotter to be thoroughly enjoyed. The rice that accompanied it was not good. I had the same experience with my enchiladas Verdes. They were not hot at all but rather lukewarm as if they had been sitting for a bit before being served. Which is totally possible considering we had to wait 34 min to get our food. Service wasn't the best considering the size of the small restaurant. They were not packed (9 tables full) and considering they had 3-4 waiters, service should have been faster. I would not return because it is your basic Tex Mex restaurant despite what reviews say and way too far to come from Plano but my husband liked the caldo so will definitely try something different on my return visit.
Food was great but service was horrible. Multiple tables had to wait for the same waiter. He was doing everything but servicing the tables he had. A customer from one of his tables had to get up and walk over to the door of the kitchen to get service. All the other waiters were attentive to their tables and took care of their customers.
Hidden surprise, stopped in ordered the beef fajitas. Choice!..
Salsa on point, might be hot to most white folk lol..queso is really good. Ps. Chips and tortillas are hands made fresh when ordered.
Yeah I'm going to be spending more money at this place.
My husband and I stumbled on this little place while in Dallas picking up concert tickets. Oh my goodness! It was so good! He ordered the barbacoa. I ordered the picadillo enchiladas verde. Don't worry if you don't speak or read Spanish, the menu is translated, and the staff is super friendly. :)
This place is awesome! Authentic Mexican food, not the usual Tex-Mex found around here. Table salsa was delicious and spicy, house margs were really good, and the mole enchiladas were perfect.
