This vegan place is so delicious and affordable! For two people including drinks, spring roll and entree, and tip was about $40. I tried the young coconut water and it was so refreshing on a hot summer day. There is plenty of parking available since the restaurant shares parking with a grocery store. It was the perfect amount of food for lunch!
I don't normally eat vegan food but do dine vegan with a friend who is. The food was so yummy and filling I did not miss the meat. The bathroom for ladies was out so men's was available and could have been a bit better kept since it was not busy. Overall great food experience for a non vegan and my vegan friend.
A good vegan restaurant. Inside of grocery store though separate from it, gives a different vibe.
The smell doesn't carry into the restaurant, so that's definitely good.
Enjoyed the food. The peanut sauce is a little watered down than expected losing it's taste.
Interesting spices, not very hot but definitely not bland. Liked the dishes. The sandwich as an appetizer is tasty but might taste better with some kind of curry or spices to it.
I recently visited and loved my experience! Incredibly nice staff, reasonable prices, and the food was delicious! I love trying vegan spots around Dallas and this one is definitely top 5!
I got the Curry Fried Rice and tofu egg rolls and my sister got a noodle bowl and the meatless chicken strips.
I went to get some great vegan food from this restaurant today.
On first impression, it's tucked away next to and behind the Asian supermarket food court. Right next to the restaurant there is a strong meat and fish odor BUT in the restaurant there is none. I was worried about the odor but the restaurant had a pleasant smell of food cooking. The decor was simple and thoughtful.
The service was fast and simple.
We ordered 2 types of noodles soup, one was the regular pho and the other was their spicy vermicelli soup (pictured below). Both these dishes were reasonably priced for the size. The tofu and protein were fresh and the broth was very flavorful.
All in all, I hope to come back here and get more of their dishes soon.
Love having a vegan Vietnamese restaurant with do many options. Service was sweet and food came out quickly. The D'Vegan noodle soup I had was really great, the Banh Mi sandwich was average and could have used more robust flavours instead of the slices of raw jalapeños inside. Will definitely return though.
I had their spicy Pho and it was delicious. The prices on most meals were very reasonable. It's hard not going back to try something new.
D'Vegan serves a lot of your favorite Vietnamese dishes like Pho, but with a Vegan twist. In place of meat, you will find soy meat replacements and seitan. Whether or not these are made in-house, I'm not sure, but they were excellent. We were both feeling like soup, so we went for a Bún bò Huế and their Golden Soup. On the Golden Soup, the broth tasted very clean and had a very light and delicate flavor. For the BBH, it still definitely tasted like a BBH to me, but without meat. The meat replacements were also surprisingly convincing. The same "beef" that was in my BBH, was also found in the stir fried dish we got, which had a very savory and slightly spicy flavor. Additionally, we ordered some egg rolls, which were incredible.
Food was amazing and everyone was kind! I really enjoyed my birthday lunch here. Can’t wait to go back.
This place was such a great find! We were looking for a nice vegan restaurant in the Richardson area and came across this place. Its located inside the grocery store and the food here is sooo flavorful its shocking. Better than many non-vegan Vietnamese restaurants I have been to! The broth of the pho has a slight sweetness to it and the udon soup is very robust. The vegan sweet n sour chicken is so convincing you wont even know its not chicken except for the tiny little bit of extra chewiness towards the end. Definite must try!
