Really diggin' it! Walking in on a Thursday night with only a 15 minute wait, not bad. The atmosphere was very open with the bar in the center of the restaurant. There's a menu notepad that you can mark what you want and the waiter will put your order in after you place it on the stand. We didn't know what to expect, but it was well worth the trip. Let's talk about the food. Roasted Duck - $3.5 - Tamarind glaze This one was probably my favorite one out of all of them. I loved the tenderness of each bite with a touch of crispy. I paired this with their habenero hot sauce and it was just fireeee! Glazed Pork Belly - $3.5 - Spicy arbol chili sauce Ahhh, I mean who doesn't love pork belly tacos? There's about 3 or so cubes of glazed bellys in this one and it was worth every bite. It had a tender inside with a very flavorful glazed crispy on the outside. Seared Swordfish $3.5 - Avocado crema, pickled cabbage slaw Perfecty seared medium, def a healthy portion of swordfish! The avocado crema was a nice acidic touch to compliment the fish. Spicy Chorizo - $2.5 - Argentinean pork sausage I can appreciate the tenderness of the pork sausage patty, maybe not my favorite but it was nice to try it. Carne Asada - $3.5 - tamari-citrus steak w/ aguacate salsa Probably a miss for me. The meat wasn't very tender and it lacked a bit of flavor but nothing hot sauce can't fix! Beet + Kale + Goat cheese - $7 - Roasted beets, lacinato kale, arugula, pickled red onions, goat cheese, ancho seasoned pepitas, dark cherry vinaigrette I love the idea of this combo esp with the pickled red onions but I've had better. If the argula was less salty, I'd probably like it more. Pork Tamale - $5 - Braised pork w/ tomatillo sauce Yasss, this was pretty tasty and melty tender. Not much meat, but loved the addition of corn. Guac + Roja + Verde - $11 Dips, dips, and more dip! Breaking it down, Roja had to be my favorite very sutble sweet heat flavors. I feel like you can't ever really go wrong with guac but it was again, a bit salty for me. The verde was very light and refreshing. Tuna Poke - $8.5 - Raw tuna, green + white onions, poke dressing, avocado, sesame seeds, fried ginger This was interesting to find here. Good flavors but probably not something I'd order again... Ahi tuna - $8.5 - Ancho-crusted tuna + asian slaw Nice seasoned crust and sear served with brown rice. Something on the healthier side for sure. Spicy Cucumber Salad - $2.5 - Garlic, red pepper flakes, rice wine vinegar Just a simple side to go with your meal. The cuts were a bit off and the cucumbers weren't really crunchy so a bit on the softer side... Horchata w/ Salted Caramel - $5 - three milks of almond, rice + coconut, honey, cinnamon, caramel, maldon sea salt (contains almonds) Oh heyyy, I can rock with this! So it's similar textures of a panna cotta... silky creamy etc. The sweetness level was perfect and paired well with the bits of salt on top. I almost wish it was smoother in consistency but other than that a delicious way to end your meal. Churros* $7 - w/ chocolate sauce If I'm ever craving a churro, I can count on this to satisfy my cravings! Fried crispy and coated with cinnamon sugar. The chocolate sauce was okay, was there salt in it? Not sure. I mean, if they decide to pair it with a dulce de leche sauce.. I wouldn't be mad. So service? I'd say exceptional! They checked on us numerous times and always made sure our water was filled and table cleaned. Another note, their pricing is pretty fair/cheap compared to other places. I would absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone craving some tacos or good drinks!

If you uSually get 3 tAcos on the strEets, you’ll need aN eXtRa 1 or 2 here. OrDered 7 diFferent taCos & aLL were the BOMB! Desserts aRe aMazing & sMells sO gOod! Food was good. Watch out when you order pork belly taco. It takes awhile to get. Ours arrived after we had finished the rest of our food.

Great place for quality tacos in North Dallas. Beach themed taco bar with great service and great food, open late and worth a visit.
