Sure hope that this fabulous restaurant comes back!! So many of us Cliffites loved it!! Puffed Tacos were amazing!!
I've eaten here since they were a small cafe across the road. This is like home cooking for me. There is no other Tex-Mex or Mexican food that satisfies my tastebuds. Ms. Diana is always nearby overseeing the Cocina. The food is consistent in flavor and the salsa is Hot! Lol
The food was STELLAR!!!!! I didn't know they have been here since 1978. Good food, good service and HISTORIC. That chimichanga, oh yes!!!

I have been a fan of the Very Best Mexican Restaurant in DFW for 40 years - 1978. Best Chips & HOT Sauce, Best Flan, Best Sopillias, Best Black Bean Soup, Best Glaucoma, BEST Sopillia.
I started eating at Tachito's restaurant when they were located up the block on the other side of Westmoreland. That would have been in the late 70's. To this day, one of my top three Tex-Mex Restaurants. Very, very sad to hear that Tachito's has closed. They had a great run.
This family owned restaurant has attentive service, is welcoming and clean. We've eaten here since it was established, maybe 40 years, and have always left satisfied because it is consistent quality, taste, and service.

I’ve been going to Tachitos for over 40 years when they only had 8-10 tables. Their food is awesome. I definitely recommend the pork chops dinner plate. The chops are huge well worth their price. The enchiladas are great too. The hot sauce is really hot but once you taste it you can’t stop eating it

Just Revisited Tachitos after 20 years. Food is still great. Our table ordered enchiladas, nachos, cheese tacos, chili relleno. We all loved ours. I was the lone vegetarian. Salsa is flavorful. Good Margaritas on rocks. Staff is friendly and service was good. Prices reasonable. Will definitely r
This is a great restaurant known only to the locals. The food has lots of flavor and is decently priced. Great marguerita also. We have eaten in a lot of Mexican restaurants on the road that had no flavor. Not so at this place. Definitely coming back.
It looks kind of sketchy from the outside but the salsa was really good and service was nice. The jalapeño appetizer was yummy and my sour cream chicken enchiladas were standard fine. The beer comes out with frosty ice cold mugs, refreshing! I would go there again.
Tachito's is by far my favorite local Mexican restaurant. They have some delicious beef enchiladas made with a white sour cream sauce.
My sister is vegetarian. She also finds yummy food on the menu there.

Been coming to this place since I was a young lad. I love the "Tacho's Nachos", the grilled pork chops, steak and eggs, puffy tacos. The menu is full of great choices. Try this Oak Cliff legend out, you won't be sorry.
