Really enjoyed our time here. It is a gastro-pub but you wouldn't know it from the outside. Looks like a strip joint from the front street to be honest. But the food was great, really creative menu and the beer list was incredible.

I've eaten here since they were a small cafe across the road. This is like home cooking for me. There is no other Tex-Mex or Mexican food that satisfies my tastebuds. Ms. Diana is always nearby overseeing the Cocina. The food is consistent in flavor and the salsa is Hot! Lol
The food was STELLAR!!!!! I didn't know they have been here since 1978. Good food, good service and HISTORIC. That chimichanga, oh yes!!!

I have been a fan of the Very Best Mexican Restaurant in DFW for 40 years - 1978. Best Chips & HOT Sauce, Best Flan, Best Sopillias, Best Black Bean Soup, Best Glaucoma, BEST Sopillia.
I started eating at Tachito's restaurant when they were located up the block on the other side of Westmoreland. That would have been in the late 70's. To this day, one of my top three Tex-Mex Restaurants. Very, very sad to hear that Tachito's has closed. They had a great run.
This family owned restaurant has attentive service, is welcoming and clean. We've eaten here since it was established, maybe 40 years, and have always left satisfied because it is consistent quality, taste, and service.
It usually has a huge fish tank that makes the entrance way and entertains us if the line gets long, but just the chest was there today.
Good gathering place for the family and friends any time, except Monday and Tuesday...it is closed! 😪
Traditional variety on the menu including enchiladas, tacos, seafood, tamales and more. Warm chips and salsa. Puffed tacos are great. Love their corn tortillas and beans. Food is consistent. Owner is friendly. It's like coming home to mama's kitchen.
I’ve been going to Tachitos for over 40 years when they only had 8-10 tables. Their food is awesome. I definitely recommend the pork chops dinner plate. The chops are huge well worth their price. The enchiladas are great too. The hot sauce is really hot but once you taste it you can’t stop eating it and it goes great with the margaritas yummy.

We have been going to Tachito’s for 30+ years. We LOVE this place. The staff is always incredibly friendly and attentive! The fajitas were so good I had them on both my visits while in town! The chips are free flowing and the salsa has the perfect kick. Eating here is one of the highlights of my trips to Dallas!
Just Revisited Tachitos after 20 years. Food is still great. Our table ordered enchiladas, nachos, cheese tacos, chili relleno. We all loved ours. I was the lone vegetarian. Salsa is flavorful. Good Margaritas on rocks. Staff is friendly and service was good. Prices reasonable. Will definitely return.
