Rex's Seafood And Market - Dallas - Photo album

A great evening out! Sarah was a perfect server and every bite we had was amazing! The Alaskan King Crab legs were so good, and the Artic Char and Pumpkin Swordfish were to die for. We up in the suburbs, but will make a point of making the trek back down here just for Rex’s!
Great restaurant. A rare place to get excellent seafood in these land-locked parts. We enjoyed the steamer (clams, mussels, crab legs and sausage, which tasted of the sea), blackened red fish, crab pasta, and fish and chips. All were excellently prepared and presented with the fresh seafood taking c
Great neighborhood spot for fresh seafood. This shopping center location offers an ever-changing selection of specials, and the offerings are consistently good. Service is always friendly, and the restaurant is very inviting despite the nondescript digs. Nothing mind-blowing here, but it’s a gre
I had a lovely date night here. We decided to sit at the bar for convenience. My date ordered us a wonderful bottle of French Rose’ wine. It was half priced because they offer the half price bottles on Tuesday. He then ordered a plate of chefs choice oysters. I love that they were marked by the regi
The Food was great 👍 😋 This was my first visit and Definitely not the last. Every dish was spectacular 😋
This was our first time experiencing what we considered to be top service (waiter was John H.) and top quality fresh seafood. The variety of oysters at Rex's separates them from any other seafood restaurant in Dallas. We are originally from Houston, and seafood is very popular in the area we lived
Love this place. It was not crowded, service was excellent. Appetizer was amazing. I had the coconut shrimp and calamari. Calamari in a lot of places is always rubbery. It was perfect here. Two sauces came with it. Coconut shrimp was flavorful. For lunch meeting we had the blackened Salmon and the
Great quality of oysters! Fish tacos have a lot of fish and tasty. Pasta Vongole is a little salty and creamy. Their service is the best!
Delicious all the way around. I’ve had a lot of recommendations to come here specifically for the fish. Was told best fish in town. Smaller restaurant with lots of seating. We had lunch! They also have a happy hour and dinner menu. Was worth the trip. I am not a fan of Brussel sprouts and theses wer
Celebrated with a birthday dinner here! Food was delicious, service was nice!
Excellent menu. We tried Coconut Shrimp with mustard honey sauce.mmmhhhh just delicious. Tuna burger medium rare excellent choice juicy, fresh and full of flavor, and finally a swordfish steak with spinach & garlic and a veggies mixed salad with a touch of lemon juice. WOW the menu is full with many
Such a fan of this place! Cheesy grits, lobster Mac and cheese, and soups are not to be missed. We also liked the salmon on special topped with coconut shrimp and purple hull peas. The bread pudding was quite good. Service is always the best... we love the staff. Pro tip - Wine bottles are half off
Unbelievable experience. The food was amazing and the staff were incredible. Best seafood in Texas. 17 different types of oysters. My fiance has a bunch of allergies and they were extremely helpful accommodating. Definitely a top 10 seafood restaurant in the U.S. I live on the east coast and eat
Went for lunch- the food and service were excellent. Our party of four shared shrimp cocktail and coconut shrimp appetizers, and we had the redfish and scallops entrees. Didn’t have drinks, but plan to return for happy hour and dinner soon. Our bill was approx $110 before tip. Definitely worth the v
Great place! Main menu is very diverse, and specials (on chalkboard) were really interesting! The fresh seafood is, of course, the main attraction, but their sides are really thoughtful, creative and delicious. Good selection of craft beer and wine by the glass as well. Already looking forward to ne
Outstanding service! Ask for Rachel! Exceptionally high quality seafood, presentation and taste. The shrimp cocktail is amazing! The New England lobster roll is the best in Dallas!!
First off the restaurant is beautiful and the modern design is very aesthetically pleasing. The food is outstanding from the Fried Calamari (not shown eaten too quickly) to the Cajun Shrimp and Grits which was hearty and delicious but a tad bit salty even for Cajun style. The star of our meal was de
Was my first time here; treated to a birthday dinner & loved it. Think the swordfish would have been better just blackened without all the other stuff on it. But that's a personal preference. Was sadly misled to believe dessert was free for birthday but enjoyed the creme brulee very much. The crab
