Sahara Restaurant - Dallas - Photo album

Authentic. Tasty. Attentive waitresses. Pricing was average. Loaded with obtains in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. Also has a grocery section. All the food had great taste, plentiful, and cooked just right. Then they brought out a tray full of small free samples of their rice pudding. It was de
Love the chicken kobideh! Delicious. Like beyond phenomenal. The basmati rice is sooooooooo goooood! On a general note I don't like basmati rice (I usually find it to be bland) but the way they cook it at Sahara is exceptional and deliciously buttery. Service is always greatđź‘Ś
Tried this place out for the first time, here are my thoughts. The food is reasonably priced and the service was friendly. The chicken kabob was good, but the ghorme sabzi needs some love, didn’t taste as authentic. Also, the atmosphere could use some music to liven it up so it’s not so quiet in the
I recently had dinner at this restaurant and was blown away by the quality of the food and service. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel right at home. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, and made great recommendations for both food and wine. The dishes we or
Wow the kubideh beef was so good. Absolutely fabulous đź‘Ź. Hot Persian tea also was a great match. Only one waitress tending to all the tables there so better not be in a rush. Food still came out quick. Their special chicken was also incredibly tender and flavor đź‘Ť.
The Sahara is a quite surprise. Service is great and the food was very good. Ordered the ground beef kabab and chicken kabab. The ground beef was excellent. The chicken was tender and juicy and grilled to perfection. Also the tea was something to have after the meal. All in all very good.
It's good. Foremost, they no longer have a buffet. It's a very cute, authentic Persian place. My chicken kabob was well prepared with a great marinade and I really enjoyed the hummus. I can't say enough about the potato salad, which is excellent. The saffron rice came with two little fried potat
I’ve come here from the time I was a child. The food is always fresh, authentic and delicious. Staff are kind and this place is truly a staple in DFW Persian cuisine. Probably why it’s been around for more than 20 years. I wish they would open another location North of Dallas in the Plano/Frisco are
Not a fancy restaurant but food is amazing. Don't miss it.
The food is amazing! We just had a party and ordered food from them. It was great. High quality and very delicious. Highly recommended!
Sahara is a decent place to pick up some Mediterranean eats. With a solid selection on the menu I'm sure you could return a few times and find something you'd like. The service was polite but rather hands off and the food came out rather slow. Other than that no complaints.
Very good and authentic Persian food. Affordable, good service, overall fantastic experience. A must try for Persian food lovers.
Today was my first time very clean nice cozy place for having a tea and eat Mediterranean food. I just bought a foot to go for a friend so I didn't had a chance to try it but definitely I will come back thank you.
Really delicious Persian food! The Turkish coffee was strong with a nice finish of cardamom. The hummus was creamy and the meat was tender with really crispy bits. There was also live music on the Saturday night which made the atmosphere over the top. The only bad thing was there was only one lady s
10 stars if I could! Excellent choices of Persian food with all you can drink Persian tea. If I could eat here everyday, I would! The white rice topped with saffron is very tasty. The kebabs are always served fresh even though it is a lunch buffet. They also have some food products from the Middle E
Exceptionally delicious and portions are very good! I ordered beef kebabs and Isfahan chicken and both are flavorful and juicy. Prices are also reasonable.
