Feels like a time machine back to the 90’s when plates costed $10 and the service was quick, warm, and friendly. Solid family restaurant to satisfy your greasy spoon. Patty Melt was one of the best I’ve ever tasted, totally unexpected.

Think IHOP, but with WAY less waiting times, better food and bigger portions.
The inside reminds me of Dennis (though I haven't been to one in years, so don't ask me why), but with a ton of elderly folk.
It's a great quiet (even when filled) place to take the family and enjoy a good meal.
Order whatever appeals to you, and I guarantee that you will like it.
Specifically recommend for those who just want a good breakfast.

Clean restaurant with a lot of space. I got the classic club(hubby ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast shown in the video and pic), which was tasty except for the very crunchy toast. I suppose I will have to specify very lightly toasted in the future, as one piece was burnt in the middle, and it was overall a bit painful for my mouth by the end. The flavor of the club was good, and their onions were very fresh, as well as their ranch. Thank you for that! The sampler appetizer was good. It had mozzarella sticks, steak fingers, chicken fingers, and onion rings. Decent price at $9.99, and you can almost get full just off that (for 2 people anyway). I also enjoyed their coffee.

I want to meet the cooks. Anyone that can keep me ordering from the Menu like that. Has my attention. We Love Chubby's!!! I have noticed the serving size has gotten smaller. It's cool. Just don't go up too much on the prices. ☺️

Chubby's is the quintessential, old-fashioned diner...a real institution. We are from out of town, and stopped in for an early Sunday breakfast. The staff was friendly, efficient, and a lot of fun, talking and kidding with us. They have a huge breakfast menu. Our breakfasts were wonderful, with nice sized portions, reasonable pricing, and quick service. As we looked around, we could tell that many of the folks eating were regulars, they knew each other and the waitstaff. Great 'family' vibe. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in Dallas.

This family style diner has been a mainstay in Dallas for as long as I can remember. Their home style meals feature ample portions sizes and tasty food. Tonight I tried their Gyro plate. Although not quite as authentic as some of the Mediterranean restaurants I’ve been to, it was quite good. The French fries were amazing as was the Greek salad. My friend ordered her favorite—chicken and waffles. An added plus - the service was excellent.

The food was okay, but came out luke warm. The service from our waitress was exceptionally good. The kitchen manager seemed to be having a bad day that day, for sure. For being as packed as it was, I’d say she should have just changed the guys order and not caused such a scene for adding the wrong gravy. Lol, it was distracting to say the least. Anyhow, it’s a good place to try and worth a shot.

I was surprised by the number of people there for brunch. Despite the restaurant being full, we were served promptly! Brought our baby and server was kind enough to give us the corner seat so we have space to park the stroller. All the servers are very friendly and helpful.
Our food arrived in less than 10 minutes and the it was delicious. Hubby ordered french toast + biscuits and gravy and I had the Fisherman's seafood delight. Portions were just right (I finished my plate)! Restaurant is clean and service is excellent. Food is affordable too. Definitely well-managed. Thank you!

We were impressed with Chubby's home cooking restaurant as the food was excellent. The restaurant was very nice and provided cloth napkins with no table cloths. They have several homemade desserts to chose from as well. I had the chicken fried chicken meal which was perfectly breaded with homemade mashed potatoes and gravy and crispy okra for under $12. The waitstaff was on top of things, friendly and made us want for nothing. We definitely will be coming back to Chubby's in the future and would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

A local diner with authentic country food 🍲. It is well worth the trip. Prices are reasonable and the food is much tastier than most chain restaurants. Service is fast and friendly. They even have whole cakes 🍰 and pies 🥧 to go or they sell them by the slice too. Highly recommend this restaurant.
