I found out about this place off the web and decided to try it once I got to Dallas. This spot is definitely in the hood but that doesn't take away from the great food and customer service I received. Everything was fresh and piping hot. If you don't eat seafood don't worry they have other options for you and to top it off they cater to those with seafood allergies!!!!đđ I definitely recommend you stopping by and giving them a try. Yes, it is in the hood, hood. So, if you are not from a hood or grew up in the hood. The best time for you to go there like Big Redd said " your hours are 11 am to 3 pm".
Bring at less a hot big head hundred because this is not the place for "the cheap at heart". The food is worth every cent. The food is cooked with love.
The first-time I tried the food was on Friday afternoon. I thought about going again all weekend long. I went again on Tuesday.

The best Cajun food I've had, ever! Everything was so juicy, meaty, and seasoned to perfection. Oh, so so good! The black box was full of hotness!

Ordered online. Food was ready when I arrived. The staff was nice and friendly. I honestly was expecting more flavor from the black box but the quality was great for the price. The fried fish was good. The shrimp were a little overcooked but I definitely would come back to try something different

First of all, I must thank Felicia for her help with our order. This was our 2nd time visiting this place and let me tell you, the âALL FRIED BOXâ is everything!!! They told us in advance that they were out of lobster tails, so they gave us extra fish as a replacement.
The fried corn was something I never had before and oh my goodness it was so delicious!!! The fried wings, fried catfish and fried shrimp was also amazing!!! I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow! I skipped the gym today to get this because I know they close earlier during the week than on the weekend!
If youâve not visited this little place, you must do so real soon!!! The ole skool koolaid was on point as well! The only reason I gave only 3 stars for the atmosphere is because itâs such a small place and with so many people in the inside placing orders or waiting for their food, itâs pretty loud and hard to hear.
The only thing we had last weekend that wasnât good was the âcrack cookiesâ which are basically praline and pecans, but they werenât fresh at all unfortunately and they tasted several days old. I believe the cookies are made by an outside vendor, but regardless they should be fresh on the shelf. Iâll definitely be returning to Aunt Ireneâs Kitchen!!! âĽď¸

Food is always delicious! Fresh All Fried Box w/ fish,shrimp,lobster tail,chicken wings and corn. Next day I got the Hood Burger! It was seasoned very well. Prices!

The food taste really awesome. Very well prepared. My salad was cold and fresh. Except the eggs was not fresh but still edible. The pasta was great not over cooked and seasoned to perfection. I am unhappy with the portion size. The bowl for the pasta is the size of the palm of my hand. For 25 bucks I just wanted more. At least toast some garlic bread or something. Lol Strawberry cake was good and moist and priced fair at 4 bucks. The salad was fair priced at 18 bucks I felt it would be better with homemade dressing for the price. Those cheap dressing they gave with the salad was nasty glad I had my own to use. No one was nice or mean. No vibe. The food is good

I love the way they service the community, some lady came in from the community and the man who handles everyone getting their food asked her if she was hungry. Im assuming that he knew her and she said yes . He hold on right here and I got you.. he didn't have to help here but he did ,that speaks volumes more than the food itself.. but let's not forget about the food it lived up to all the hype đ delicious and pretty fast for all the food they were serving... awesome place

Of course i had to come to see what the hype was about and off rip, my plate was heavy af which was good because I paid $50+. It was pretty good though, just different from the traditional boil I am use to. They also didnât have the drink I wanted which was disappointing.

The food is consistently good, but the wait can be a bit of a turn-off. Do not go here with the expectation that you'll get in and out - THIS AIN'T THAT PLACE! The food is made made to order and always fresh. Staff are friendly. However, you can come and stand at the counter for 15 plusinytes with no help...I'm just hoping Keith doesn't stop by...

Excellent service ... and donât be intimidated by the long lines. Youâre in and youâre out very quickly. The food quality is excellent, I highly recommend the âBlack Boxâ If you are a seafood lover. And if you have a sweet tooth, get a bag of cookies...yummy yum yum!

Great food and for sure good home cooking I love seafood so this is a must being from Louisiana itâs hard to find great seafood like Iâm use to back home but this place has it!! Like it was New Orleans style even better if you havenât eaten here you should definitely try it. You wonât be disappointed... and the servings are BIG portions so you are sure to get your belly full ����� good Cajun eating
