Crooked Tree has been more than a coffee shop for me here in Dallas — it's a place of peace. I love the atmosphere and the friendly baristas. The coffee itself is fantastic too. It's sourced from Oak Cliff Coffee and brewed impeccably. Sadly I'm no longer in Dallas, but every time I return, Crooked Tree is first on my list of places to revisit.
Crooked Tree is an incredibly special place. It was my home away from campus when I was in college. I think I wrote my whole thesis there. Full of light, love, and good coffee, this place is a wild home for all.

Awesome little coffeeshop tucked away downtown. They had all the typical drink options you could want. They had a nice selection of fresh pastries that included doughnuts.
It is in an old house that has lots of different nooks for you to sit and enjoy your coffee in.
Such a cute cozy coffee shop nestled amongst downtown Dallas. A little disappointed they didn't have almond milk or coconut milk. Soy is not my favorite but the latte was still very good!
This review is WAY overdue, but better late than never.
I really enjoy getting work done in coffeehouses, and I’ve tried just about every one in this city and the surrounding towns, and this one is still my #1 choice. I have yet to find a cappuccino that’s better than theirs on a consistent basis. I can count on the quality every time. When I’m really craving coffee, I know this is the place I’m going because I’m never disappointed. The atmosphere is so comfortable and perfect for getting work done or having a chat with someone you are meeting. And the staff members are all great people. Thank you, Crooked Tree.

Very good! I live in the neighborhood and have been going to this coffee shop for the past 7 years. The quality is great - much, much better than coffee that you would get at a chain coffeehouse. The prices are good - but I might say a bit high! Other than that - no complaints. I am an avid coffee drinker and I treat myself to coffee from this place very frequently. The staff are always friendly to me and remember my order. I bring friends here and out of town guests. I will definitely return and keep recommending this place to others.
The staff here really know their coffee. I just popped in and asked a few questions, and learned a whole lot about how coffee is made. The coffee here is outstanding. The cold brew is smooth and delicious, and the food is fresh. Prices are also pretty reasonable.
The coffee is all roasted in Oak Cliff and the atmosphere is more like a house than a coffee shop.
My absolute favorite coffee shop. Perfect place to study or meet with a friend. Quiet, quaint, and good coffee. Staff are always friendly. Usually when I go to a coffee shop, I get a vanilla late and ask for it to be a little bit extra sweet. Every single other place I’ve been always looks at me like I’m stupid and says “the vanilla is already sweet.” But not here! They make it perfect every time.

They make some amazing drinks, and create a stress-free zone for their guests. Being as this coffee house is ACTUALLY in a house, it makes it that much more warm and inviting.
There is literally nothing negative to say about this place other than the fact that you can't be looking for a business when finding it. You have to look for a little sign out in front.
